Effective isolation is critical to preventing Ebola transmission. Ensuring that suspected and confirmed cases are safely managed protects families, health workers, and entire communities.
We are supporting:
- Safe isolation spaces within treatment facilities
- Infection prevention supplies such as disinfectants and protective gear
- Training for healthcare workers on safe handling procedures
These measures are reducing the risk of further spread within healthcare settings and beyond. Supporting Development Alert's community initiatives to promote isolation and safety measures ensures there's effective prevention of the spread and control of Ebola thus human health.
