Dear friends!
We thank you for your support of our project, the purpose of which is to raise funds to pay for the treatment and rehabilitation of children with severe physical disabilities. Tough times have come for all of us. And it is especially important to be together.

Today we do not ask for money. Today we want to convey our gratitude to everyone who has supported our project all these years.

From January 2022 to May 2022, we helped 10 boys and girls suffering from cerebral palsy undergo treatment and rehabilitation, which they have been waiting for for many months. These children are lucky to get help. Let us tell you about few children.

Like five years ago, there is not enough support and rehabilitation for children with severe developmental disabilities in Russia. No help within walking distance. Mom loses her job because she has to constantly take care of the child. Due to the pandemic and global changes, the number of requests for help is only growing.

So we were happy to help these children. And even now we are preparing to pay for the treatment of three more children. We are desperately fighting to change at least one more life for the better.
Thank you for being with us all this time!

Now we are more concerned about you. How are you? How do you manage to cope with global changes and new challenges? And if we can help you in any way, just let us know.

Humanity is in each of us. It warms and gives strength.
We send you gratitude and rays of warmth from the foundation team and from our children. Here are our champions.

Vera From the first days of her life, Vera was on a ventilator. There were difficult births and the child became disabled. All her life, Vera has been trying to win and learn to be an ordinary child. And each course of rehabilitation brings a small victory. Thanks to your support, Vera is undergoing a $5,000 rehabilitation course.

Marat's rehabilitation cost $4,500. He is 12 years old, he is a smart and inquisitive teenager: he studies in the 5th grade of a regular school, knows a lot of poetry, reads well, writes, draws.
Marat underwent a serious operation and is learning to walk again. He really needs to learn how to walk again.

Thanks to muscle strengthening during rehabilitation, it is easier for Marat to learn new skills. The boy's mother felt lighter and happier because he is becoming more independent.
We sincerely thank you for your help!

We are all looking forward to when the nightmare will end and good will win.

Warmest wishes!

Vera

Dear friends!  Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

May 2022 be more joyful and happy and bring many victories to you and your loved ones! Thanks for your help!

We want to tell you about the results of our project for the second half of 2021.

 During this time, we have paid for the rehabilitations:

 for 4 children;

  • summary total amount: 489,100.00 rubles.

 We managed to help these children thanks to your participation and support. Even modest donations can change the lives of children for the better, because they add up to large sums.

We would like to tell you about one boy, his name is

Kirill, born in 2010, from Volgograd region.

Diagnosis: cerebral palsy, spastic diplegia, delay in psychomotor and speech development, kyphosis of the lumbar spine, equinovalgus feet, hearing loss of degree IV (cochlear implant on the left ear).

Thanks to your support, we were able to raise funds to pay for the necessary rehabilitation course. Kiryusha is a real fighter and he deserved this victory, and the first independent steps became the reward for the past tests.

Kirill was required: a rehabilitation course at children’s habilitation center Rodnik, St. Petersburg, at a cost of 226,600 rubles.

As a result of the course, we can observe that the back muscles are becoming stronger, the support function of the feet is improving, the volume of active movements is increasing.

A few lines from a letter from Kirill’s mother:

With tears of joy in my eyes, thanks to you, dear employees of the Diema’s Dream Foundation and all the Benefactors who helped us to complete rehabilitation course and, of course, specialists who worked very hard with Kiryusha; my son took his 5 first steps, it was wonderful!!!

Dear philanthropists, we want to thank you for your help and participation in the life of children with special needs!

Thanks to everyone who took the Step towards Kirill!

Dear friends!

We want to tell you about the results of our project for the first half of 2021.

During this time, we have paid for the rehabilitations:

  • for 8 children;
  • donated by GlobalGiving: $ 3,240.04

We managed to help these children thanks to your participation and support. Even modest donations can change the lives of children for the better, because they add up to large sums.

Usually we sum the received donations to the current payment. We directed 100% of your donations to the children's assistance program.

We would like to tell you about one boy, his name is Misha (name was changed, born in 2017, from Rostov-on-Don, Russia).

It was required: a rehabilitation course, at the cost of 147,700 rubles ($ 2,051). $75 came from GlobalGiving donors for this payment.

Diagnosis: organic brain damage, symptomatic epilepsy in remission, encephalopathy of mixed genesis, etc.

Thanks to You, we managed to book and pay for the rehabilitation course on time.

Due to the current situation in the country, the financial difficulties of the Misha’s family, as well as the spread of the coronavirus pandemic COVID-19, the place of rehabilitation was changed to a local medical center in the city where Misha lives.

After undergoing rehabilitation, Misha's mother writes:

“We say thank you. Thanks to the rehabilitation course, Misha began to walk confidently outside. Now he can climb up the slide and roll down it with a laugh. Now he can go up and down the stairs. This seems insignificant to ordinary children, but for us it is a huge work. The words mom, dad, grandma appeared. There are a lot of sounds and emotions.

It's all thanks to you!”

Thanks to everyone who took the Step A Step Misha!

Dear friends!

2020 was amazing, full of challenges. But in Russia we have survived and coped with fear and difficulties. Thanks to you as well!

In 2020, despite the pandemic we paid for the treatment, rehabilitations and rehabilitation equipment:for 21 children;

We want to tell you about one boy, his name is Sasha (name was changed), born in 2017 from Lipetsk. It was required: Rehabilitation course, worth 145,100.00 rub. Diagnosis: cerebral palsy, valgus installation of feet, mental and speech development delay.

Thanks to You we managed to reserve and pay for a rehabilitation course in time. After rehabilitation passing Sasha's mom writes:

«Before rehabilitation Sasha hardly could go at a support, independently didn't stand and didn't go, coordination, weak muscles of hands, legs, spins, the press are strongly broken, he held hands bent and lifted up. For these four weeks was carried out enormous work of experts with my child. The main focus was placed on strengthening of skeletal muscles, setting of the correct walking, training in independent standing. Sasha was very much tired since he didn't get used to such workload, but we sustained, and it was worth it. Also, he started walking, holding one hand (before rehabilitation he fell at once as soon as understood that there is no support on the second hand). On arrival home he began to take the first independent steps and startup it three-five steps, but he does them, on own initiative – small dashes from a support to a support.

I want to express huge gratitude for the help in fundraising on rehabilitation for my son. It is very pleasant to realize, that in our hard time there are people ready to give a helping hand to seriously ill patients, to children. Sincerely I wish execution of all your kind plans, good health and wellbeing. »

Thank you for your good deeds!
