Project Report | Dec 3, 2015
Dennis was able to walk alone around 50-60m!!!

By Elena Volodina | Director of the Diema's Dream Fund (Russia)

Dear Friends!

We thank you for your support of our project! 100% of your donation came to children's treatment and rehabilitation.

See what happence!

We’d like to tell you the results of Denis treatment in KGBUZ "Krasnoyarsk Regional Clinical Center of maternal and child health."

Here is what his mother writes about his results of this course: "We started our treatment in this Center long ago. Denis knows everything, and he works with great pleasure. He understands that it is all for his health benefit.

In this Clinical Center Denis gets such medical procedures as physical therapy, massage therapy, logopedic rehabilitation, course of mud baths and others. But only here he gets muscle stimulation while walking on a treadmill. It strengthens his muscles well.

In “Lokomat” (robotic walking machine) sessions Dennis teaches to put his feet correctly. This machine teaches the body to walk on different earth surfaces in virtual reality, it develops balance - and Dennis has the balance problem.

At this time Dennis was able to walk alone around 50-60m - it was the great record for him! He tried by himself and almost learned to go up and down the hospital stairs holding the banister – it was unreal for us before, we could only dream about it.

Thanks to everyone who helps us to overcome the illness!!!! "

But a lot of children still need your help - make regular donations and tell your friends about us!
