Support little champions with Cerebral Palsy!

Thank You for helping Russian children with cerebral palsy!

For 2017, we have assisted 26 children with severe and multiple disabilities in amount of $79,000. Together with GlobalGiving we raised $19,533,90! Each course of complex rehabilitation gives yielding success. There are 31 Russian children waiting for our help nearest time. And we believe together we will definitely help them!

Mom of Elvina applied for Diema’s Dream to pay rate of rehabilitation in children's clinical sanatorium Evpatoria preliminary cost $4,200. For Russian family with low family incomeit is very big amount of money. Without your help this dream never could come true! We thank those who donated money through GlobalGiving. In 2017 we paid for this rehabilitation. Elvina and her family are glad  that she has the opportunity to continue her rehabilitation required! We sincerely thank all the donors and look forward to the results of a course of rehabilitation.

PROJECT RESULTS

Thanks to the help provided, the health of children with severe disabilities of psychophysical development is constantly improving. All children, whom we helped in 2017, had comprehensive health improvements:

• Fine motor skills:some children can now open their hands, which is a prerequisite for manipulative actions with objects, including the ability to drink, eat, draw, dress, etc.
• Motor activity:in many children the muscle strength was increased, spacticity decreased - some children can now stand, and sit, one of the children began to stand and walk with support, and some - even independently!
• The development of speech:there are children who pronounce only certain sounds, syllables or individual words, someone tries to pronounce the sentences completely and are happy that other people can understand them better.

Mental development:some children study in schools - the level of their intellectual development has improved noticeably.
