At SUPERARSE, we currently serve more than 300 children and young people in vulnerable conditions per year. For us, their safety is the most important thing.
The care centers are 2 old houses, where the children receive daily food, love, education, clothing, psychosocial support, health, and everything they need to grow healthily, and that in many cases their parents cannot give them or they are orphaned or abandoned children.
Because they are houses with more than 80 years of construction, every year they are maintained with paint and other repairs, so that they are in good condition and do not have risks with children, but now we need to make a significant investment of more than U$45,000 to fix the roofs of both houses and the bathrooms that the children use daily.
In house 1, we need - U$10,000 to change the roof due to humidity and fungus.
U$12,000 to change 8 toilets, 4 sinks and door repair
In house 2 - U$ 8,000 Change of parts of the roof due to damage to the tiles and humidity
U$ 15,000 Change of the entire toilet system, sinks and showers and new doors
All contributions represent a great help to improve the quality of service for the children cared for
THE CHILDREN ARE WAITING FOR YOUR HELP
Your help is the engine for new ways to improve the lives of more than 300 vulnerable children per year and thus manage to transform a society. Education is the key. Thank you for making it possible.
In 2022, we received about 38,000 dollars in donations in GlobalGiving in different projects, and we invested more than 660,000 dollars in total in the well-being of our children, who contributed to the education of 330 vulnerable children, to food, clothing, recreation, health and everything they needed during the year to transform their lives.
Education is a process that goes beyond teaching science or mathematics, it is the responsibility of generating confidence in children so that they can find their abilities and talents and can grow as people.
The new generations have developed new skills and do not easily accept traditional learning systems. they are constantly updated, they live connected; they are interactive and quick in the use of technology. The learning model that works is through technological networks, they learn collaboratively, they do not expect master classes but rather open conversations that allow them to develop in community the skills they need to survive in a global world. With pedagogical strategies we seek permanent motivation in our children.
We want our beneficiary children to have notebooks and complete school supplies for their study this new school year. We are sure that with your help we will get closer to that SOCIAL CHANGE that is achieved through EDUCATION.

"THANK YOU FOR JOINING THIS CAUSE AND HELPING BUILD NEW WAYS FOR CHILDREN"
Throughout my childhood I felt alone and suffered abuse, but in SUPERARSE I found love, EDUCATION, friends and the inspiration to change my life.
I'm Andy, I was born in Medellín - COLOMBIA in 1995 without family. At 2 years old I was declared adoptable.
I went through several foster homes, where I suffered from bullying, hunger, and I learned the prohibitions for everything, I became a very rebellious child.
At the age of 14, he entered the SUPERARSE boarding school. It was the best stage, the teachers were kind, the treatment was humane and fair, I lived enriching and happy experiences, I could learn, watch movies, read books and play, I could be a child. I fondly remember that the ladies in the kitchen treated me with love and respect. In Superarse, I had a friend, we were almost brothers. But he was adopted by a family in the US and left.
I was still very rebellious and one day a teacher advised me and told me: “Andy, your future only depends on you”. These words made me change, I became kind and respectful.
At the age of 17, thanks to SUPERARSE, I first studied Architectural Delineation and learned English. I was able to work and start to change my life
Now I study Space Design and Management at a private University in Medellín. I have bigger projections for the future
My story, although full of pain in childhood, managed to be positively transformed thanks to the SUPERARSE, which through its projects and programs helps many children and young people to study, have a family or support network, and fulfill our dreams.
With EDUCATION the lives of thousands of children and their future can be transformed. YOU CAN HELP THEM!

Your help in GLOBALGIVING can save the life of a child!
In Colombia, more than 40% of children suffer mistreatment, abuse or abandonment, of these, 70% of cases of sexual violence occur within the home.
For this reason, for 52 years, SUPERARSE has been serving children who have suffered violations, offering them opportunities to transform their lives, protection and prevention of their rights.
Through a foster home, we serve 50 children between the ages of 8 and 18, for whom we cover all their needs such as housing, food, education, clothing and recreation.
We also provide day care to 100 boys and girls, whom we support half a day with food, school and psychological support for them and their families, thus avoiding risks of rights violations.
In the support program for young people, "Autonomous Life", we accompany more than 70 young people, through counseling and professional guidance focused on their technical, technological and professional training, in order to promote comprehensive development and autonomy as a central axis. for their lives.
¡CONTRIBUTE TODAY AND TRANSFORM A LIFE!
Every day there are more children at risk, who need help to survive, to feed themselves or to get out of abuse.
In SUPERARSE, during the last 5 years we have been able to increase the number of protected children. In 2017 we attended 93 children in each cycle. In 2021, we attended 150 children in each cycle. Now we are very close to being able to serve 200 children daily.
YOUR HELP IS NEEDED TO ACHIEVE IT!
We already have the second foster home finished, now we are very close to being able to start buying beds, mattresses, blankets, dining room furniture, crockery, kitchen implements, educational and recreational material, we are also going to buy a television and chairs for the living room study. We already have computers and some games. At SUPERARSE we are happy and optimistic that very soon we will have everything ready to receive the children and be able to start transforming their future.
Our goal is AUGUST 2022.
New foster home SUPERARSE, for 50 more homeless children!
