In 1970, Medellín witnessed a tragedy. On a cold night, three homeless children sought shelter from the cold in a garbage can. In the midst of darkness and loneliness, a spark of fire engulfed them, taking their lives in an act that forever marked the heart of a community.
From this deep pain a seed of hope was born: the Superarse Corporation. Inspired by the need to protect children, Superarse became a refuge for thousands of vulnerable children and young people, who find a home, food, education, psychosocial support and a family. Throughout these 54 years, Superarse has traveled a path full of effort and dedication. What began as a dream of protection and care has become a home for thousands of children.
However, the world is moving forward, education and learning are no longer just books and blackboards. Today, children need technological tools, adequate study environments, and access to educational resources that allow them to develop their skills and compete in a world of constant change and technological evolution.
The study room of the children who live in the boarding school has witnessed many dreams, but it already shows the passage of time. The computers are outdated and the spaces are not inspiring for children and young people who long to learn and build a different future. We know that knowledge is a door to change, and with your help, we can open that door for them.
Therefore, today we invite you to join our GIVINGTUESDAY campaign this December 3, for a technological and educational renovation. With your support, we can improve connectivity, update computers, and create spaces where children can learn, research, and discover their talents. It is not only an investment in technology, but in the future of these young people who dream of a better world.
You can be part of this transformation! With your contribution, we will be closer to providing them with a quality education and the tools they need to excel. Because together, we can continue building a path of hope and opportunities.
