Supporting a Small Business in Bauchi

Dear Benevolent Donors and Contributors,

Leadership Initiatives would like to thank you again for everything you’ve done to support this team. As you’re all aware, nonprofit organizations are so reliant on (and grateful for!) the benevolence of supporters like you to help us in our mission. This close relationship between our success and your personal generosity is why we cannot overstate how much we appreciate both your financial and emotional support.

Over this past summer, students at LI's International Leadership and Business Summit (ILBS) worked with the orphanage to establish new methods of educating the orphans, providing them with the opportunity to learn various subjects while still having fun. Now that the academic year is back in session, this partnership is now in the hands of students involved in the International Business Internship Program (IBIP), expanding this initiative over the course of the next year.

Donations to Washington-Lee High School's partnership with the orphanage will not only help maintain the orphanage itself, but will also go toward the team's ongoing project intended to teach the orphans invaluable hygenic practices through engaging videos approved by doctors. Your encouragement of the Washington-Lee High School and their goal to help this orphanage is truly changing lives across the globe.

As we’ve mentioned before, we’d love your input or suggestions on how this team can best aid the orphanage. We here at Leadership Initiatives are nothing if we are not propelled by an environment of creativity, and your ideas may very well be the next solution needed to truly change lives. Please contact Executive Director Marshall Bailly at mbailly@lichange.org if you have any suggestions relating to this project. Again, we couldn’t do it without you!

WIshing you and your family a wonderful day,

Supporting a Hospital in Bauchi

Dear Amazing Leadership Initiatives and Respective Donors,

Your donations will empower individuals and communities across Bauchi State, Nigeria, giving them the opportunity to form connections and address local issues using community resources. This will create a generation of leaders given the platform to encourage progress that starts at the local level but impacts many more. Contributions from donors give promising individuals access to entrepreneurial, leadership and project management training. These leaders then identify developmental obstacles within their communities, design practical solutions, and create sustainable business models to overcome those obstacles.

Our students create novel solutions firmly grounded in principles of social entrepreneurship. We have previously created in Bauchi, Nigeria businesses in fish farming, welding, tailoring, motorcycle repair & computer education with job placement. Currently, this project will help a Bauchi State hospital (Shifa Royal Hospital) in its attempts to bring adequate medical care to those in need from surrounding communities.

Rochester High School has partnered with Shifa Royal Hospital to address the obstacles they face. Currently, these include undesirable hygienic practices (and lack of hygiene awareness) and malnutrition. Your encouragement of Rochester High School's team and their goal to solve these problems will truly help change lives across the globe.

As a supporter of Rochester High School's project, Leadership Initiatives would love to have you involved if you ever want to help grow our programs, learn of ways you can participate or have new ideas on how this team could best help Shifa Royal Hospital Bauchi. Please contact Executive Director Marshall Bailly at mbailly@lichange.org if you have any suggestions, questions, or comments! Your hard work and support is the greatest gift we could receive as we attempt to create a better world.

Thank you once again from the bottom of everyone's heart here at Leadership Initiatives. If you would ever like to speak to our staff in Nigeria or this specific project leader, we would love to communicate with you so you can personally see the change you are creating.

Wishing you, your family and your friends the absolute best!

Sincerely,
