3 women invested in their businesses

Dear our donors,
Thanks to your support through Global Giving since November 2016, 3 more women in Eskisehir were able to get a loan to invest in their micro businesses.
B.O. has been producing local foods at home and selling them. She is 44 years old, married and has 2 kids. She took her third loan of 1400TL to buy bulks of cooking oil, meat, rice and other ingredients. G.O. is a primary school graduate. She is 69 years old. She has been sewing bathrobes for children at her home and she took her 3rd loan of 800TL to buy bulks of textile. Y.B. is a single mother at 45 with 2 children. She has been managing her own café and took a loan from Maya of 2500TL to buy a fresh pasta cutting machine.
Since June 2015, KEDV raised a total of USD 5,191.19 through 79 donations through Global Giving and disbursed loans to 13 low income women for their micro businesses and gave financial literacy training to 15 women in addition to these 13. We still have a long way to reach our target of USD 70.000 to be able to support 200 low income women entrepreneurs. One More Low Income Woman Grew Her Business

Thanks to our donors through Global Giving since August 2016, 1 more women in Eskisehir was able to get a loan to invest in her micro businesses.
M. O. is 47 years old, married and a mother of three. She is a high school graduate. She has been selling cleaning products and cosmetics of local brands for 8 years from home via a network system. She borrowed 800TL with 24 weeks installments as her first loan from Maya. She bought bulks of goods to sell. She wants to grow her business, sell more and earn more money.
Since June 2015, KEDV raised a total of USD 3,904.89 through 64 donations through Global Giving and disbursed loans to 10 low income women for their micro businesses and gave financial literacy training to 15 women in addition to these 10. We need to raise more funds to reach our target to be able to support 200 low income women entrepreneurs. We would be grateful if you could continue to spread the word and share the project link in your networks.

2 more low income women get business loans to improve their businesses

Thanks to our donors through Global Giving since May 2016, 2 more women in Eskisehir was able to get loans to invest in their micro businesses.
N.S. is married and is taking care of her 2 children and her elderly mother. Even though she worked before she got married, she stopped working after marriage. With her entrepreneurial soul and social character, she started to sell nutrition and cosmetics products to her relatives and friends. She took a loan to buy the products in bulk to increase her profit margin. She was provided with a loan of USD 300 that she will pay back in 24 weeks.
N.K. has been producing gift boxes for the last 10 years. Although she was doing her business from a shop she rented, she had to close it down due to economic problems and continued to do her business from home. She applied for a loan to buy production materials in bulk and she was provided with a loan of USD300 to be paid back in 24 weeks.
Since June 2015, KEDV raised a total of USD 3.510 through 55 donations through Global Giving and disbursed loans to 9 low income women for their micro businesses and gave financial literacy training to 15 women in addition to these 9. We still have a long way to reach our target of USD 70.000 to be able to support 200 low income women entrepreneurs.
