Dear our donors,
Thanks to your support through Global Giving since November 2016, 3 more women in Eskisehir were able to get a loan to invest in their micro businesses.
B.O. has been producing local foods at home and selling them. She is 44 years old, married and has 2 kids. She took her third loan of 1400TL to buy bulks of cooking oil, meat, rice and other ingredients. G.O. is a primary school graduate. She is 69 years old. She has been sewing bathrobes for children at her home and she took her 3rd loan of 800TL to buy bulks of textile. Y.B. is a single mother at 45 with 2 children. She has been managing her own café and took a loan from Maya of 2500TL to buy a fresh pasta cutting machine.
Since June 2015, KEDV raised a total of USD 5,191.19 through 79 donations through Global Giving and disbursed loans to 13 low income women for their micro businesses and gave financial literacy training to 15 women in addition to these 13. We still have a long way to reach our target of USD 70.000 to be able to support 200 low income women entrepreneurs. We would be grateful if you could continue to spread the word and share the project link in your networks.
Warm regards…
