Another Woman in Turkey Accessing Micro Credit

Thanks to our donors through GlobalGiving since July 2017, 1 more women in Eskisehir was able to get a loan to invest in their micro businesses. G.E. has been selling silver accessories and watches to earn an income. She has been doing this business for the last 2 years and she has been doing it from her home and also on stalls. She is married and has 2 children. She was graduated from high school. She took a loan of 800TL to buy new products.
Since June 2015, KEDV raised a total of USD 6,620.32 through 100 donations through GlobalGiving and disbursed loans to 17 low income women for their micro businesses and gave financial literacy training to 15 women in addition to these 17. We still have a long way to reach our target of USD 70.000 to be able to support 200 low income women entrepreneurs. Micro Businesses of Women Supported

Thanks to our donors through GlobalGiving since May 2017, 2 more women in Eskisehir were able to get a loan to invest in their micro businesses. H.B. has been knitting and selling these products to earn an income. Since her husband passed away in early years of their marriage, she has been able to earn a living and send her 3 children to school thanks to this income. She has been doing this business from home. She is now 61 years old and still continues to work. She took her fourth loan of 1700TL to buy bulks of materials she uses for knitting. S.Y. has also been doing the same business from home to earn an income. She has a child with sight disability and hence did not have a chance to find a job outside her home and had to do her business from home. She is now 55 years old. She took her fourth loan of 1700TL to buy bulks of materials she uses for knitting.
Since June 2015, KEDV raised a total of USD 6,304.67 through 96 donations through GlobalGiving and disbursed loans to 16 low income women for their micro businesses and gave financial literacy training to 15 women in addition to these 16. We still have a long way to reach our target of USD 70.000 to be able to support 200 low income women entrepreneurs. Low Income Women In Eskisehir Improving Businesses

Thanks to our donors through GlobalGiving since February 2017, 1 more women in Eskisehir was able to get a loan to invest in her micro business. Z.Ç. has been selling textile products, i.e. underwear, socks, clothing. She has been doing this business from home. She is 34 years old, married and has 1 child. She took her fourth loan of 1800TL to buy bulks of textile goods to sell.
Since June 2015, KEDV raised a total of USD 5,463.59 through 88 donations through GlobalGiving and disbursed loans to 14 low income women for their micro businesses and gave financial literacy training to 15 women in addition to these 14. We still have a long way to reach our target of USD 70.000 to be able to support 200 low income women entrepreneurs.
