Thanks to our donors through GlobalGiving since June 2018, 1 more woman in Eskisehir was able to get a loan to invest in her micro business. S.Y. took trainings to open a beauty saloon. She has been running her business with success thanks to her good communication skills and strong relations she builds with her clients. With her second loan, she bought stocks of goods she uses in her shop.
Since June 2015, KEDV raised a total of USD7,880 through 137 donations through GlobalGiving and disbursed loans to 24 low income women for their micro businesses and gave financial literacy training to 15 women in addition to these 24. We still have a long way to reach our target of USD 70.000 to be able to support 200 low income women entrepreneurs.
