Thanks to our donors through Global Giving since February 2016, 1 more women in Eskisehir was able to get basic financial literacy training and a loan to invest in her micro business.
M. is a primary school graduate, is married and has 3 children. She started to raise animals in the village after she was 50 and needed a micro loan to buy a goat. She was provided with a loan of USD 270 that she will pay back in 24 weeks. She will produce cheese and yoghurt from the goat’s milk and sell them in addition to the milk of the goat.
Since June 2015, KEDV raised a total of USD 2.900 through 47 donations through Global Giving and disbursed loans to 7 low income women for their micro businesses and gave financial literacy training to 15 women in addition to these 7. We still have a long way to reach our target of USD 70.000 to be able to support 200 low income women entrepreneurs. We would be grateful if you could continue to spread the word and share the project link in your networks.
Warm regards…
