Dear Patron,
We are delighted to share with you the latest progress on the 50,000 Tree Planting Initiative, an effort dedicated to restoring the environment, improving soil fertility, and strengthening community resilience. Your support continues to make this vision a reality, and we remain deeply grateful for your trust and partnership.
Project Progress Update
Our team has completed nursery preparation and is now actively filling seedling bags using a mixture of soil enriched with organic fertilizer. This fertilizer is derived from natural farm manure, composted leaves, and other biodegradable materials, which enhances soil health, supports strong root development, and ensures that our seedlings grow sustainably without harming the environment.
The image above captures our dedicated team at work; filling nursery bags, organizing them for seed sowing, and preparing the nursery layout. This is a foundational stage that will enable us to successfully raise 50,000 healthy tree seedlings.
Key Activities Completed
Soil and organic fertilizer mixing
Filling and arranging nursery bags
Setting up nursery beds and layout
Active involvement of the community
Achievements to Date
We have successfully completed the nursery preparation and organic fertilizer processing. The filling of nursery bags is ongoing, seed sowing has already begun, and community participation remains active and strong. Thousands of bags have already been prepared, and seedlings are starting to germinate. Our pace remains steady and aligned with our target of producing 50,000 trees within the project timeline.
Impact of Your Support
Thanks to your contribution:
Soil fertility is improving through organic fertilizer use
Seedlings are being raised sustainably and without chemical harm
Reforestation and land restoration efforts have expanded
Local youth and farmers are gaining skills and employment
A long-term environmental legacy is taking root
Every milestone achieved brings us closer to a greener and more resilient community.
Next Steps
Complete filling of the remaining nursery bags
Continue watering and organic fertilization
Expand shade structures and maintain nursery monitoring
Prepare land for transplanting once seedlings mature
With Gratitude
Your generosity is shaping a sustainable future for both our environment and our people. We deeply appreciate your continued support and look forward to updating you as we move closer to planting 50,000 trees and restoring our landscape.
Together, we are sowing seeds of life.
Sincerely,
Jean Damascene Uwizeyimana
