At the beginning of 2016 the Center supportive care Lekorice moved to new premises and thanks to HP moving went smoothly. Volunteers from HP helped us pack up and move office supplies. Volunteers, who weekly visit children and adults make their time more pleasant in hospital wards, might not even recognized that we were moving. In January and March there were two supervision meetings for volunteers with the result that they are satisfied with the volunteers and the volunteer program is carried out by all the rules. Regular volunteer Jan Duda won Kresadlo award, award for ordinary people who do extraordinary things, and he was elected as volunteer of 2015.
During February and March hospital staff and volunteers had the opportunity to make Easter decorations from pedig under the direction of Jana Vánová, a seminar about healthy eating took place and volunteers had the opportunity to learn how to play new board games.
At Rheumatology and Rehabilitation ward took place an art workshop. Patients had the option to make a brooch in the shape of organza flowers. In the Clinic of Pediatric Surgery and Traumatology a spring creation occurred with Hewlett-Packard Enterprise, where children had the opportunity to make toys from pompons and in the morning the volunteers were decorated with patients of Geriatric and aftercare ward Easter gingerbreads. At Children Psychiatry ward the Gabriel choir made a concert. Even in 2016 there is cooperation with professional magician Ondrej Soukup, who regularly performs once a month at the Pediatric wards. At the ward of Geriatrics and aftercare take place art workshops for patients focusing on the development of fine motor skills in 14-day intervals, before Easter took place performances of kindergarten Sedlcanská when kids sing spring songs to the patients. The monthly art workshops for mothers of children in Pediatric neurology under the direction of a volunteer Lenka Kutejová keep going.
