ISERH GRADUATES AND INDUCTS 64 AS ASSOCIATE AMBASSADORS

It was a long journey of about 5 months that started on the 5th of January, 2019 with 247 Undergraduates and Fresh Graduates from Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Liberia, Sierra Leone, and Nigeria that got admitted into ISERH Undergraduate Studies Class 2, out of 292 applicants from 8 countries. They all came in with the high hope, courage and determination to be trained by our various world-class facilitators on Leadership, Socio-corporate, Relationship, and Entrepreneurial Skills. The free course was held on Whatsapp every Saturday while the scholars were expected to record a 75% attendance rate, 50% facebook engagement rate, and implement a capstone project, either as a group or individuals, in order to graduate and get inducted as ISERH Associate Ambassadors.

It was indeed a battle for survival and can simply be seen as the quest for the best. Only 64 scholars of the course met all the requirements expected of them to graduate and get inducted as ISERH Associate Ambassadors. They are the courageous, highly determined, refined, outstanding, and industrious, who defiled all odds to see to the end of the course. They handled the course as if it’s certificate is equal to degree's. They formed groups in some cases, for the purpose of implementing the capstone project. Many made themselves 'a lone ranger', in the quest to implementing their capstone project. Coming in contact with them on the field would make you take their capstone project for their undergraduate's project.

We have never seen such courageous and determined young men/women as these our ISERH Associate Ambassadors. A new family has been born for them/us all, as they now have unrestricted access to the pool of undergraduates and graduates from African countries that made up this network. Aside this, they can now access various resources: human, opportunities, fellowships, internships, trainings/seminars, books, motivational/lecture audios and videos, jobs opportunities, mentorship, counseling, etc via our Ambassadors Portal as they possess their unique login details to the site: http://ambassadors.iserh.org.

Our inducted Associate Ambassadors are undergraduates/graduates of the following institutions:

1. Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife (4)
2. University of Ibadan (6)
3. Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Ghana (1)
4. Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko (1)
5. Kwara State University (6)
6. Lagos State University (5)
7. University of Ilorin (12)
8. Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomosho (20)
9. The Polytechnic Ibadan (1)
10. Federal University of Agriculture Abeokuta (8)
11. Kogi State University (1)
12. Bauchi State University, Gadau (1)
13. The Federal Polytechnic Ado Ekiti (1)
14. National Open University of Nigeria (1)
15. Federal Polytechnic Ede (2)

22. Federal University of Technology Akure (1)
23. Michael Otedola College of Primary Education (1)
24. Federal College of Agriculture, Ibadan (1)
25. Institute of Public Administration and Management, Freetown (1)

From all of us at the Initiative for Sound Education, Relationship & Health (ISERH), we appreciate all the facilitators who freely trained these youngstars for the period of 5 months, and we enthusiastically commend the Associate Ambassadors for their doggedness, determination, ruggedness, focus, and courage in pursuit of the course to the logical conclusion. Congratulations dearest!

With these amazing Ambassadors, we have a high hope for the future of our continent and the world at large, as they have pledged to disseminate the knowledge garnered via the course to other young people around them. There is no doubt in us that they shall keep striving to becoming ethical leaders we trained them for.

God Bless You All.
You are our LOVE and FUTURE.

‘TEAM DREAM’ SCHOLARS TRAIN OVER 300 JUNIOR SCHOOL’S STUDENTS

It was a cold and gloomy morning on the 8th of May 2019, but this didn’t deter: Scholar Oladeinde, a 400-level Biochemistry student of University of Ibadan; Scholar Azeez, a Surveying and Geoinformatics graduate of The Polytechnic Ibadan; Scholar Achidi, an Economics graduate of University of Ibadan; Scholar Abdulfatai, a 400-level Computer Science student of the National Open University of Nigeria, from implementing their capstone project on the assembly ground of Methodist Grammar School, Bodija-Ojurin, Ibadan, where over 300 JSS1-3 students of the school were trained on the topic: ‘Your Dream and You’, in fulfilment of the requirements to graduate from ISERH Undergraduate Studies Class 2.

Despite being a dull morning, the scholars were surprised at the enthusiasm of the energetic students, which created a bright ambience for learning. The topic – ‘Your Dream and You’ was chosen with the aim of educating the youngsters on breaking the societal stereotype imposed on them, and to empower them in following their passion towards fulfilling their dreams. They highlighted eight questions vital on the path to living our dreams: The Ownership question, Clarity question, Reality question, Passion question, Cost question, Tenacity question, Fulfillment and Significance questions.

Having successfully implemented this project, they have hereby fulfilled a part of the requirements expected of them to graduate and get inducted as an ISERH Associate Ambassador, and if all things being equal, they shall have unrestricted access to the resources available on the Ambassadors Portal - starting from Saturday 25th of May, 2019, immediately after their convocation and induction ceremony on the class platform.

ISERH Undergraduate Studies is a FREE online course where African undergraduates and fresh graduates are trained (via whatsapp class) by professionals, for a period of 5 months (minimum) on leadership, socio-economic, relationship and entrepreneurial skills. The students of the course are referred to as SCHOLARS, and upon the fulfilment of 75% attendance rate, 50% facebook engagement rate, filling of online graduation form, and implementation and reporting of capstone project, they get convocated and inducted as ISERH Associate Ambassadors. This gives them unrestricted access to ISERH Ambassadors Portal (http://ambassadors.iserh.org) where they can freely have one-on-one chats with a group or individual Ambassadors and their facilitators, have access to internship, fellowship, jobs adverts; audio/video lectures; books; and lots more.

From all of us at the Initiative for Sound Education, Relationship & Health (ISERH), we say 'Congratulations to you' and as well give credit to Mr Luqman, ISERH Director of Studies, who trained the Scholars of ISERH Undergraduate Studies Class 2 on YOUR DREAM AND YOU.

On Wednesday, 15th Januray 2019, the duo of Ayomide and Ezekiel, students of Ogedengbe High School, Ilesa, Osun State, Nigeria, who recorded 77% & 75.5% scores, respectively, in the 2018 ASPIRING THE BEST COMPETITION (ABC) received cheques for their Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (WAEC/NECO/GCE). It was indeed an exciting moment for the two scholars as they were applauded severally by their colleagues on the assembly ground.
The story was similar at Reality High School, Ilesa, where the trio of Nafisat, Samuel and Olawumi got overwhelmed due to the show of love by their colleagues and teachers who cheered them up as they were being presented their certificates and cheques on Thursday, 17th January 2019. They promised to be good ambassadors of ISERH and work harder to do better while upholding her moral values and ethics.
The atmosphere wasn't different either, at the Muslim Comprehensive Government College, Ilesa where Abdulbasit received his certificate of induction as an ISERH Ambassador and his cheque for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). The entire school celebrated him for being the first student form the school to benefit from our scholarship.
Students and staff of St. Paul Anglican Model College, Ile-Ife were more than excited to receive our team on Monday, 28th January, 2019, when they stormed the school to present certificate of induction as ISERH Ambassadors and SSCE cheques to Boluwatife who emerged as the 2018 ISERH Student of the Year, and Sunday who also won the scholarship. The teacher who mentored the duo, Mr. Oyeniran, is the 2018 ISERH Teacher of the Year, and the 2018 ISERH Outstanding Teacher of the Year.
Other beneficiaries from Ilesa High School, St. Margaret's High School, First Class High School and Methodist High School were also presented their certificates and cheques. They all expressed enthusiasm with prayers for everyone who contributed towards their education.
On behalf of all the beneficiaries and schools that benefitted our 2018 scholarships and awards, we say a 'big thank you' to everyone who donated towards this course and GlobalGiving for the continuous supports
