Initiative for Sound Education, Relationship & Health (ISERH) held on Saturday 28th of October, 2017, her 5th edition of Aspiring the Best Competition (ABC), that serves as the qualifying examination for every high school student who wants to benefit ISERH’s scholarship to write SSCE/UTME for FREE and a gateway to selecting ISERH Ambassadors, ISERH Dream Scholars, and ISERH Excellent Teacher Awardees. Over 71 high school students sat for this year’s examination in Oshogbo, Ile-Ife and Ilesa centers. The results are expected to be out and available for checking/printing on the ABC Portal (www.abcexam.iserh.org) starting from Monday, 20th of Nov., 2017.

In the same vein, GlobalGiving has credited ISERH’s Nigerian bank account with a sum of Three Hundred and Sixty-Seven Thousand, and Thirty-Four Naira, Forty-Two Kobo (N367,034.42) on Thursday 26th of Oct., 2017, being the fund raised through our recent fundraising project - titled ‘Help 500 Nigerian Teens Go Back to School’. Consequent upon our failure to meet the targeted amount of fund to help 500 teenagers, the disbursed fund is to be used in sponsoring the SSCE/UTME of 17 high school students, providing textbooks and notebooks for 30 high school students, while 4 high school students are to be provided with schoolbags, textbooks and notebooks.

The 17 students to benefit ISERH scholarship to write SSCE/UTME shall be drawn from the candidates who sat for this year’s Aspiring the Best Competition (ABC) and scored 75% and above, while an online nomination form shall be made available to the public to nominate 3 rural communities within the 3 Senatorial Districts in the State of Osun where the beneficiaries of our schoolbags, textbooks and notebooks shall be drawn.

As we might have known, ISERH has sponsored the SSCE/UTME of over 80 high school students in the State of Osun within 3 years of her existence, while about 43 of them are now in Universities/Polytechnics studying courses of their choice. 17 Osun teachers have been honoured with ISERH Excellent Teacher Award, over 450 high school students have been equipped with textbooks and other school supplies, while over 25,000 young people have accessed our other services through ISERH Youth Affairs Center (YAC).

At ISERH, we believe that together and through qualitative education and ethical leadership development, we shall build for the world: A Peaceful, Informed and Healthy Nation of Ethical Leaders!
