132 IWARA MIDDLE SCHOOL'S STUDENTS GET BOOKS
'Your visit was timely and this intervention program of yours will really help boost our pupils' morale. On behalf of the students and the entire management of the school, we say a big thank you'. Those were the words of the Principal of Iwara Middle School, Iwara in Atakunmosa East Local Government Area of Osun State, Mr. L. R. Orisajinmi, when our team visited the school on Thursday 3rd October, 2019 with the primary target of 50 Beneficiaries but the situation in the school forced the target to 132 by the way of giving items meant for 50 to 132 students.
The Vice Principal of the school, Mr. O. Ayodele, eulogized the organization for supporting indigent students of hard-to-reach rural communities. He then prayed for more success in our endeavors. The enthusiastic students were provided with exercise books, textbooks, and pens to aid their learning.
ISERH Director of Programs, Aderanti Abimbola, encouraged the students to see this kind gesture as an encouragement to be serious with their studies while encouraging the staff to see it as a call to service in revamping the educational sector of the state. He thereafter presented the school with 3 cartons of chalks and a Pack of Pens to help aid their teaching.
Based on our mandate, Initiative for Sound Education, Relationship & Health (ISERH) will not relent in her efforts towards supporting hapless students of the state and as well as reward excellence. We appreciate those who donated towards this project directly or through GlobalGiving as we call for more supports to help make it sustainable thus revamping the educational sector of the state.
