The results of the 2018 Aspiring the Best Competition (ABC) has been released today 20th of August, 2018. The 2018 ISERH SSCE/UTME Qualifying Examination took place Saturday, August 4th, 2018, where 120 students sat for it. In his press release, the ABC Project Director - Akinwole Isiaq, noted that 13 candidates made 75% cut-off mark, which stands them out as the prospective ISERH Ambassadors and the beneficiaries of the ISERH 2018 SSCE/UTME Scholarship.

He as well noted that the Outstanding Candidate (the Highest Scorer for the competition) of the year comes from Ile-Ife. The young boy who failed the competition last year came back stronger to emerge the Outstanding Candidate of the year. 5 Candidates who made an aggregate score 60% to 74% are the prospective ISERH 2018 Dream Scholars. A total number of 25 candidates scored between 50% and 59% and are the prospective Consolation Prize Recipient.

The ABC Project Director hereby commended the successful candidates and hereby charged them to buckle up their belt in order to perfectly fit into the group of ISERH Ambassadors. He as well encouraged those who couldn't meet the cut-off mark never to relent. They should see this as an eye-opener to knowing their strengths and weaknesses, and put in their efforts to positively work on them. He noted that ISERH had recorded several candidates who failed Aspiring the Best Competition in their first and/or second attempt in the past, but later excelled and now in universities. Notable among them is an OAU-300-level-student ISERH Ambassador Olufemi Sayo Samuel who, after having his first attempt failed, resat for the competition and emerged the Outstanding Candidate (Highest Scorer) for the 2015 competition.

He as well enjoined all the coaches/mentors to work with their mentees/students in making sure they improve on their academics, especially the subjects that they recorded low marks. Failure is never a FINAL but a SIGNIFICANT PART OF SUCCESS

The candidates who sat for the competition are hereby enjoined to log on to http://abcportal.iserh.org/result.php to check and print out their results.

The 2019 ISERH Recognition Awards date and venue shall be announced sooner.

6 ISERH AMBASSADORS GET MATRICULATED AT OAU

It was a scene of joy when ISERH Program Director, Mr. Aderanti, joined the OAU ISERH Ambassadors’ Chapter to celebrate and welcome 6 newly admitted ISERH Ambassadors into the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife, as the school held her matriculation on Tuesday, 5th and Wednesday, 6th of June, 2018. These were the days ISERH team and the institution’s ambassadors have been waiting for, to celebrate the newly admitted ambassadors who, despite the competitiveness in securing admission into the great citadel of learning and ‘king’ of Nigerian universities – OAU, defiled all odds to get admitted on merits into the various departments and faculties of their choice.

The 6 matriculated ISERH Ambassadors: Tosin – Mechanical Engineering; Eunice – Nursing; Emmanuel – Civil Engineering; Moses – Agric. Extension; Peter – Industrial Chemistry; and Joseph – Pharmacy, represent the symbols of perseverance, academic excellence and focus. As young as they are, they all have different good, sad, ugly and beautiful stories to tell about their worldly journey so far. In fact, majority of them are in dire need of university scholarship to complete this degree and get celebrated in few years to come. ISERH will surely appreciate individuals, companies, organizations and groups who pick interest in providing university scholarship for any or all of these promising young ISERH Ambassadors and Nigerian-tomorrow’s hope.

In 2016, ISERH Team were at the same institution for the matriculation of 10 ISERH Ambassadors while the only ISERH Ambassador in the school, IA Akindele – who is now a graduate of the institution, joined the team to celebrate and welcome the newly admitted ambassadors. Fast forward to today, Initiative for Sound Education, Relationship and Health (ISERH) now has a total number of 16 of her ambassadors in Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife and a graduate ambassador from the institution. This is a huge landmark achievement for us, and consequently, we unreservedly appreciate Almighty God and the believers, supporters and sponsors of our organization for their tireless supports. We specially appreciate ISERH Amb. Timilehin of Medical Rehabilitation Department for his show of ethical and responsive leadership in the coordination of OAU ISERH Ambassadors’ Forum.

As we are counting days/months to join other parents and well-wishers at the convocation of the institutions, where we shall be celebrating our own ISERH Amb. Akindele as he graduates from the department of Philosophy, Politics & Economics, we look forward and seek our Lord’s protection over us, our sponsors and our ambassadors to live to witness the convocation/graduation of them all.

We hold the belief that ISERH Ambassadors never carry the last. They are always outstanding in their chosen course. We are not disturbed that you are meeting other champions in the institution, because we are confident that you all have all it takes to be the moon in the galaxy of stars.

Congratulations to you and us.

Enthusiastic Amb. Ayodeji amidst PD & Proprietor

This was the second visit of ISERH team to St. Johns Academy after about 3 months they visited to honour and present Amb. Victor his ambassadorial certificate and WASSCE fee. Amb. Ayodeji was denied being honoured that day as a result of his lateness to the ISERH 2017 Annual Recognition Awards. He was not robbed of his deserved honour and encomium as he received his certification and WASSCE fee on Wednesday, 9th of May, 2018. Ambassador Ayodeji was at the pick of enthusiasm while receiving the certificate and prize. He beamed an ambassadorial smile of victory at his colleagues and teachers.

Amb. Ayodeji has now been certified to be called an ambassador, have unrestricted access to benefits of being an ambassador, and have the mandate to attend ISERH Ambassadors’ Monthly Leadership Forum where ambassadors receive life skills supports, 21st century leadership training, counseling, guidance, mentoring, and academic supports.

The proprietor – Elder Aluko, in his usual charming nature, was around to usher ISERH team unto the assembly ground for the presentation of WASSCE fee and Ambassadorial certificate to the honoured. The proprietor reiterated his commitment in promoting excellence and supporting ISERH in her quest to making education accessible and affordable for all. He described punctuality as the soul of business and thus welcomed the measure employed by ISERH in punishing her rules’ breakers.

ISERH Program Director- Mr. Aderanti appreciated the kind gesture of the proprietor in supporting ISERH's program in the past, present and his unrelenting efforts in ensuring education becomes a right and not a privilege for the willing heart. As usual of him, he encouraged the students to get registered for the 2018 edition of the competition via www.abcportal.iserh.org as the registration comes to an end on Sunday’s midnight of July 1st, 2018

Tuesday, 8th of May,2018 was a blazing day at the Trailblazer Group of Schools, Ilesa, as ISERH Program Director – Mr. Aderanti and ABC Project Director – Mr. Akinwole stormed the school with ISERH Ambassadorial Certificates and WAEC scholarships for two outstanding students of the school, ISERH Ambassadors: Paul and Ogunade, who excelled in the 2017 ISERH Annual Scholarship Competition – Aspiring the Best Competition (ABC) and thereby joined the league of prestigious ISERH Ambassadors.

Reacting to the development, the Proprietor of the school - Mr. Akin extolled ISERH's effort in sanitizing the education sector of the State through her annual program, ASPIRING THE BEST COMPETITION (ABC) and other educational programs undertaken by the organization, all in efforts to promote excellence, diligence and open access in the sector. He stated that the awardees - ISERH Amb. Paul and ISERH Amb. Ogunade, have demonstrated what a willing and committed heart is capable of achieving, as the latter went as far as studying using streetlight, whenever there was electricity outage. He was not deterred by the unconducive environment and epileptic power supply, he worked hard in killing excuses and awakening the academic giant in him.

Mr. Akinbinu, the principal of the school, commended ISERH Management Team for relentlessly inspiring youth, building leadership traits in them, and building their moral and academic excellence. He thereafter challenged the entire students of the school to be goal-getters. He assured them that hard work pays as it’s evident in the students been celebrated.

ISERH Program Dir. – Mr. Aderanti decorated the duo and presented them their WASSCE fee. He advised them to make punctuality their description, as their lateness to the ISERH 2017 Annual Recognition Awards got their scholarship delayed till the moment. He thereafter informed the other willing students who dream to become ISERH Ambassadors and win our scholarship to immediately proceed to www.abcportal.iserh.org to register for the 2018 Aspiring the Best Competition (ABC) as the portal would be closed for registration on Sunday July 1st, 2018.

On Monday, 7th May, 2018, the students and staff of Ogendengbe School of Science, Ilesa enthusiastically received the duo of ISERH Program Director - Mr. Aderanti and ABC Project Director - Mr. Akinwole who were at the school to present WASCCE fees and ISERH ambassadorial certificate to the school's 2 glowing ambassadors who excelled in the 2017 ISERH Scholarship Competition, Aspiring the Best Competition (ABC), but got their prize and certification delayed as a punishment for their lateness to the Award Ceremony held on Saturday February 3rd, 2018.

The principal, Mr. Adebayo, eulogized ISERH team for a job well done, as he admonished the students to emulate the two students by participating in subsequent competition. He recalled how one of their students, ISERH Ambassador Daniel - a 300 level Medical Rehabilitation student of Obafemi Awolowo University, won the competition during the 2014 edition, thereby challenged his elder brother who failed that year’s competition to resit for the subsequent year and emerged the 2015 Outstanding Candidate of the year. He thereafter introduced ISERH team led by ISERH Program Director, Aderanti ABIMBOLA Mutiu to address students and present award to the ambassadors.

ISERH Program Director invited the duo of ISERH Ambassadors: Muhammad and Opeyemi to the podium on the assembly ground for the receipt of their WASSCE fee and ambassadorial certificates. He congratulated the two beneficiaries while he made a brief presentation about ISERH, her vision, mission and impacts. He thereafter encouraged the students to be of good character and be diligent in their studies while he emphasized that ISERH will not hesitate to celebrate those who have chosen to be outstanding in their course of studies. He reminded them that the ABC Portal (www.abcportal.iserh.org) would be closed for the registration of the 2018 Aspiring the Best Competition on Sunday July 1st, 2018.

The principal thereafter invited any student from SS 2 class to ascend the podium to appreciate the team, but none of them was that bold to do that. An SS1 student voluntarily came out and impressively delivered an appreciation message. His boldness and oratory prowess impressed the team and got the Program Director to announce free registration for the student to partake in the 2018 Aspiring the Best Competition (ABC) while he challenged the entire students to work passionately and effectively on their public speaking skill. A skill all ISERH Ambassadors possess!
