JOSHUA BECOMES THE FIRST ILE-IFE BENEFICIARY OF ISERH WASCCE SCHOLARSHIP
Initiative for Sound Education, Relationship & Health (ISERH), an NGO situated in Ilesa, Osun State recorded another great accomplishment as its horizon is extended to Ile-Ife for the first time since her annual scholarship competition, Aspiring the Best Competition (ABC) started. Ile-Ife was given a center for the first time, for the purpose of giving willing and brilliant high school students whose parents could not afford to pay for their high school leaving certificate examinations an opportunity to be tested and won the ISERH scholarship and become ISERH Ambassadors.
ISERH Ambassador Joshua stood out among the Ile-Ife candidates for the 2017 Aspiring the Best Competition (ABC) as he made the cut-off mark of 75% in the competition. He was subsequently inducted into ISERH Ambassadors' Forum alongside other 17 beneficiaries on Saturday, 3rd of February, 2018. His performance won his coach who doubles as his school principal - ISERH Excellent Teacher Award. ISERH Amb. Joshua prize got delayed as a result of his late arrival to the ISERH 2017 ANNUAL RECOGNITION AWARDS.
ISERH Monitoring and Evaluation Officer, Mr. Olayemi, was at Amb. Joshua school, Saint Paul Anglican Model College (SPAMOCA), Ayelabowo, Ile-Ife on Friday, 6th of April, 2018, to present him his WASSCE fee and Ambassadorial Certificate.
While addressing the students, ISERH M&E Officer admonished the students to be diligent in their studies and always work towards excellence in everything they partake in. He encouraged them never to lose confidence in themselves and never get scared of picking up challenges - as challenges make a man. He thereafter reiterated ISERH's and her partners' commitment to keep brightening the future and hope of the children of common men and to relentlessly work towards securing the future for the uncared-for. He informed them to access www.abcexam.iserh.org to register for the 2018 Aspiring the Best Competition (ABC) as the portal would be closed for registration on Sunday, July 1st, 2018.
The principal of the school who doubles as ISERH Excellent Teacher Awardee commended ISERH for her level of commitment and leadership development initiative. He prayed to the Lord to bless Nigeria with many more of ISERH in order to wipe the tears of less privileged and secure their future, while he commended and prayed for ISERH team, management, and partners/sponsors. He then admonished his students on punctuality as lateness was the only reason why Amb. Joshua WASSCE fee and Ambassadorial Certificate was delayed till the day.
As ISERH prepares for this year's edition of her Annual SSCE/UTME Scholarship and 2018 Aspiring the Best Competition (ABC), we hold the belief that students, teachers, parents and our partners/sponsors are getting ready to make it a huge success. We wish the prospective candidates a huge success.

ISERH AMBASSADOR TOSIN BECOMES A CELEBRITY AS HE RECEIVES AMBASSADORIAL CERTIFICATE AND WASSCE FEE!

The memory created on Friday 16th of February, 2018 shall live on to inspire the entire students and teachers of Ilesa High School, Ilesa as ISERH Ambassador Tosin suddenly became a proud son/student of the school's teachers during the presentation of ISERH Ambassadorial Certificate and WASSCE FEE to him by the team of the Initiative for Sound Education, Relationship & Health (ISERH).

IA Tosin was among the 18 newly inducted ISERH Ambassadors and beneficiaries of ISERH SSCE/UTME scholarship, having made an aggregate score of 75% in the 2017 Aspiring the Best Competition (ABC). The teachers and management of the school couldn't hide their enthusiasm as they all, individually and in groups, posed for photographs with the boy. They were all filled with the assertion: 'Oloriburuku kii se ara ile mi' which literally means 'I SHARE NO FAMILY BOND WITH A FAILURE '.

In his words, ISERH Exc. Director expressed how he first had a contact with 'Cardiologist' Tosin in 2015 during his schools talks tour. Cardiologist Tosin was the first student to ask question during the event and his question was on what he could do to achieve his dream of becoming a cardiologist in respect to his parents' economic class. Mr. Abdulraheem recalled how he told him that the way forward is for him to face his study as he, Abdulahi, was not fortunate to be born with a silver spoon. He then pledged to him that day that he would start calling him cardiologist Tosin in order to remind him of his dream.

Fast forward to present, ISERH Ambassador Tosin has won and excelled in several competitions which does not exclude the recent competition, Aspiring the Best Competition (ABC), that won him ISERH Ambassador title. His case is one of numerous cases ISERH has unveiled.

The entire management of the Initiative for Sound Education, Relationship & Health (ISERH) appreciate the school's management and teachers for their commitment in giving the best to their students. The school has produced many ISERH Ambassadors which include but not limited to: ISERH Ambassadors: Peter, a final year student of PPE Department, Obafemi Awolowo University; Samuel, a 300 level student of Accounting Department, Obafemi Awolowo University; Michael, a 300 level student of Urban and Regional Planning Department, Obafemi Awolowo University; and a host of others.

It is important to note that the 2018 Aspiring the Best Competition (ABC) application shall begin on Monday 5th of March 2018, as the portal www.abcportal.iserh.org shall be opened to accept applications by the date.

Thank you to our sponsors and donors!

Friday February 9th, 2018 was a day of double celebrations at St. Margaret's High School, Ilesa, Osun State as the school's principal's wedding anniversary got marked the same day ISERH Management Team visited the school to celebrate the Outstanding Candidate of the Year who made the highest overall score in the Aspiring the Best Competition (ABC), ISERH Ambassador Goodness, and his coach/mentor who won ISERH Excellent Teacher Award and Outstanding Teacher of the year Award for coaching Overall Highest Scorer, Mr. Omigbiyegbe, the school's Mathematics Teacher.

The school's Chemistry teacher could not dodge our camera and hide her enthusiasm for hearing the news of how ISERH Amb. Goodness emerged the Overall Highest Scorer in Chemistry with 24 scores out of the 25 total marks for the subject.

ISERH Exc. Director, Abdulahi, made use of the opportunity to challenge the school's students to never ever get scared to compete in the competition and other tests of knowledge brought to them. He admonished them that if one's parents' level of education is a coefficient of one's becoming brilliant or successful in life, his name would be missing in 'the book of Educated and Succesful', as his both parents are not educated. He then pointed out to them that dedication, boldness to challenge failures, prayers, and determination to set new records take one to zenith and make one a subject of good reference. He thereafter rejoiced with the school's principal and prayed for continual reigning of peace in her home.

The train moves to another school on Monday.
