Every child deserves enough food to grow, learn and develop. Yet food insecurity is placing many children in Karamoja at serious risk.
The latest 2026 IPC assessment projects that approximately 122,100 children aged 6–59 months will face acute malnutrition, including approximately 30,600 children with severe acute malnutrition.
This challenge exists within a wider food-security crisis affecting approximately 473,000 people in Karamoja who are facing Crisis or Emergency levels of acute food insecurity.
Good Cause Foundation Uganda is appealing to donors through GlobalGiving to help vulnerable families respond to hunger and protect children from the consequences of inadequate food and nutrition.
Our goal is to support emergency food assistance for vulnerable households while also helping families strengthen their ability to produce food.
With your support, we can work toward providing food packages while supporting seeds, agricultural skills, farming knowledge and appropriate resources.
Objectives:
A child's future should not be limited by hunger.
Your donation can help a child receive food today while helping their family build a more secure future. Please support and share this campaign.
