Karamoja needs compassionate people and organizations willing to stand with families facing hunger.
The latest 2026 IPC assessment reports that approximately 473,000 people—about 32% of the analysed population—are experiencing Crisis or Emergency levels of acute food insecurity.
For families already struggling with poverty and limited livelihood opportunities, food shortages can have devastating consequences.
Children are particularly vulnerable. Approximately 122,100 children aged 6–59 months are projected to experience acute malnutrition, including around 30,600 children with severe acute malnutrition during the March 2026–February 2027 period.
Good Cause Foundation Uganda is appealing for support through GlobalGiving to help vulnerable households meet immediate food needs while creating pathways toward longer-term resilience.
We want to support food packages for families experiencing hunger while also encouraging agricultural recovery through seeds, practical farming skills, knowledge and appropriate resources.
Objectives:
Karamoja's families need more than our sympathy—they need our support.
Please donate, share our campaign, and help us reach families who are waiting for a helping hand.
