Children should have the chance to grow, learn and dream about their future—not struggle to survive hunger.
The 2026 food-security and nutrition assessment shows the seriousness of the situation in Karamoja. Approximately 122,100 children aged 6–59 months are expected to face acute malnutrition, including about 30,600 children with severe acute malnutrition.
At the same time, approximately 473,000 people are experiencing Crisis or Emergency levels of acute food insecurity across the region.
These figures demonstrate why urgent support is needed.
Good Cause Foundation Uganda is appealing to donors to help us support vulnerable families with emergency food assistance and contribute to efforts that protect children and strengthen household food security.
Objectives:
A child's future should not be determined by hunger.
Please support this campaign and help us reach families in need across Karamoja.
