The region continues to experience serious food insecurity driven by prolonged drought, poverty, changing climate conditions, and limited livelihood opportunities. These challenges have placed vulnerable households under enormous pressure, leaving many struggling to obtain sufficient and nutritious food.

Why Children and Mothers Need Urgent Attention

Malnutrition can have serious consequences for children, particularly during their early years of development. A lack of adequate food can affect physical growth, immunity, concentration, and educational progress.
