By George Obua | Project Leader
Transformation of a society can be possible if it is built on a solid foundation
What does it mean to Kole Intellectual Forum to have said that: societal transformation can only be possible if it is built on a solid foundation? This question, takes this organization to its very early years of formation. Those were characterized by getting into locally related issues of their community; particularly on matters of education. They (the team of Kole Intellectual Forum), started by engaging with the local communities (Educational stakeholders) already working on particular field of interest, by attending several meetings, volunteering a lot material time, and together, starting to addressing problem of poor performance in public primary schools within that are of jurisdiction.
Indeed, one after the others, Kole Intellectual Forum, started to realize the restructuring of all aspects of the communities’ lives, from culture to social relations and from their ways of thinking to value the aspects of education. One of them was in 2019 quoted to have said that: “I wish I was young, I would have gone back to school”. This statement was generated as a result of Kole Intellectual Forum moving closer to its community and influenced the mindset in various educational aspects; hence, given an answer to the statement that, transformation of a society can be possible if it is built on a solid foundation

Working Together with the Clan Leaders
By George Obua | Project Leader
Kole intellectual Forum is working together with the clan leaders for drawing the projects' programs
Primarily with the interest of dealing with community governance, cultural preservation, and dispute resolution with the society that the organization is in existence; Kole Intellectual has made it a point that, they involve the clan leaders in guidance of their key programs.
And specifically, the leaders are helping them them in the:
- Conflict Resolution and Peacekeeping: Clan leaders are instrumental in mediating and resolving internal and inter-clan disputes, particularly over land and marriage issues. They provide an accessible, culturally recognized form of justice and help foster reconciliation and peaceful coexistence by building consensus.
- Cultural Preservation and Transmission: They are the custodians of their clan's customs, values, history, and traditional laws, ensuring that this heritage is passed down to future generations.
- Community Representation and Linkage: Clan leaders represent their community's interests in broader forums and act as a crucial link between the community and government bodies or non-governmental organizations. They help mobilize members for community development programs and can support or interpret government policies at the local level.
- Social Welfare and Support: Leaders look after the most vulnerable members of the community, such as orphans and the very poorest, ensuring they have access to basic needs like food, shelter, and services. They also assist members in times of need, such as during funerals or house construction.
- Guidance and Education: They play a critical role in mentoring and counseling the youth, ensuring they are well-equipped not only with cultural values but also to navigate the modern world, often by promoting the importance of education.
- Governance and Resource Management: In areas where customary law prevails, clan leaders manage communal resources, such as land, and make decisions regarding their use and allocation.
And through it, working closely with the with clan leaders has allowed them to be more effective and culturally sensitive.

The dream of reality witnessed
How can the truth be realized after transferring a dream into reality
The "sense of realizing the dream of reality" is described by Kole Intellectual Forum in this report, as their act of endeavour to torch the hearts of their donors and beneficiaries in a profound way and more often in a transformative manner, a shift in that, the consciousness of these two diverse personalities tend recognize that their waking life is fluid, subjective, and shaped by their own mind, much like a dream, yet experienced with the vividness and agency of reality
Kole Intellectual Forum is certain to announce in this report that: in their objectives, they proclaimed that: one time one day, they will be able to connect the rightful people to the rightful resource across; and this has turned up to be the true facts of reality; making them to pronounce, "a sense of realizing the dream of reality in this project" by building rightful students to the rightful resources
