Kato-san, The President of the Sendai YMCA International Hotel and Pastry School, shares the graduation message from Riku, Yuuka, Chiho and Akino who graduated March 7th. He also shares six video messages from this year’s Taylor Scholarship students. All students are intensely studying English and their success is on display in their video messages!
Three of the students, Miyuna, Saori and Takashi speak of their English language internship this summer. They will go to Washington, D.C. from 7/17 to 8/2 to attend an English language immersion program given at The Language Center & Sugai Program at George Washington University.
All of the students need scholarships to attend the Sendai YMCA International Hotel and Pastry School because of hardships caused by the 2011 Japan Earthquake and Tsunami. The Sendai YMCA and TAMF provide these scholarships jointly. Please watch the video messages at the links below. We thank you for watching!
