Kato-san, The President of the Sendai YMCA International Hotel and Pastry School, shares a new video about the school.
The Sendai YMCA International Hotel and Confectionery School has expanded to international students. This new introductory video explains in English and English sub-titles the different curriculums that Taylor Scholarship students take. This year we have 20 students receiving the Taylor Scholarship to be used in both the Hotel and Confectionary studies. The addition of international students to the school help the local students supported by the scholarships to learn English and other languages and cultures from their peers.
All of the students need scholarships to attend the Sendai YMCA International Hotel and Pastry School because of hardships caused by the 2011 Japan Earthquake and Tsunami. The Sendai YMCA and TAMF provide these scholarships jointly.
