Kato-san, The President of the Sendai YMCA International Hotel and Pastry School, shares video messages from the four students who are in their last year. Three of them have received job offers and the fourth expects to receive one soon. Katon-san reports proudly, “They are really good students and study very hard.” We are proud of them, too!
All of the students need scholarships to attend the Sendai YMCA International Hotel and Pastry School because of hardships caused by the 2011 Japan Earthquake and Tsunami. The Sendai YMCA and TAMF provide these scholarships jointly. Please watch the videos that each student made to tell us of their progress and next steps. We thank you for watching!
