Ali Najibi practices in the farm
Ali Najibi practices in the farm

The Learning Farm has been successfully empowered 1086 vulnerable youth to become independence and productive members for their communities. During its 13 years of successful operation, we have run 32 batches of the basic program (100 days) and 18 advanced level programs (200 days).

In 2016, The Learning Farm is started to work in collaboration to UNHCR Indonesia by giving a refugee place to learn organic farming. They are unaccompanied youth which is coming from various countries such as Afghanistan, Pakistan, Somalia, Ethiopia, Yemen ect.

One of our refugee student is M. Ali Najibi. He is an advanced student and has completed 100 days basic program. Even though his language ability is limited, M. Ali Najibi has good interpersonal skills to understand local students as well as high motivated person to practice in the farm.

M. Ali Najibi now to be more active to learn and practice in the farm. His language has significantly increased as well. By learning organic farming, he expects to have better future especially to build organic agriculture in third country.
