Have you heard of Presbiacusia?
Presbiacusia is the gradual decrease in hearing, which is related to age. The simple fact of getting old puts you at risk of suffering it. It is estimated that from 40% adults lose an average of 1% of hearing per year and usually take several years to realize that they are losing some hearing. Knowing it on time is important to treat it.
We invite you to take the audiometry test once a year and we encourage you to spread the word to your parents, grandparents, uncles and those you believe are already losing hearing.
We also offer our Mobile Adult Program “Hearing is Living”. On this occasion we thank the company LEE HECHT HARRISON for requesting the test.

Did you know that Language Therapy is not exclusive for children with hearing loss?
Language Therapy can be useful both for deaf and hard of hearing children, who are learing to speak, as well as for hearing children who have other situations such as pronunciation, suttering, wagging and dyslexia among others.
Speech therapy sessions can help children to speak more clearly and, therefore, to feel safer and less frustrated when talking with our people.
At FOV, our speech therapists, after performing a language assessment for children, design a personalized support program to ensure that each one is helped just with what they need and provides parents with guidance to perform a complementary job in the house that guarantees the best results for the child’s progress.

Wax in the ears has a function, know it!
Ear was has the function of protecting the ear canals from water, dirt and dust, which can damage the eardrum and inner ear. Sometimes the body does not get to expel the wax and can accumulate in the ear getting to plug it. If this occurs it can cause a decrease in hearing, earache, dizziness or dizziness in children. In our clinic we have the service of Otolaryngology and Ear Wash.
Attention only on Saturdays from 8:00 am to 12:00 md and by appointment.
