By Sandra Sanchez | Restoring hearing to 100 children in Panama.
It has been deeply rewarding to bring our free hearing screenings to public schools in Panama, serving children and youth between the ages of 2 and 17, particularly within Panama City. However, our findings reveal an urgent need for collective action: we have detected everything from foreign objects to advanced-stage ear infections (otitis).
Many of these children are currently at risk of permanent hearing loss, which compromises both their learning and their future. Thanks to your support for yet another year, and as of the closing of this report, we have already transformed the lives of 68 children through timely diagnostic testing.
To detect in time is to save a future. We invite you to continue supporting the mission of Fundación Oír es Vivir. Your contribution allows us to keep reaching those who need it most, ensuring that no Panamanian child loses their voice because they weren't heard in time.
Let’s keep changing lives, one ear at a time.
