Due to the current pandemic situation in our country, FOV is working inside the clinic continuing to deliver hearing health for all the Panamanian population.Delivering workshops, celebrating the World Hearing Day in march and also many IG LIVE conversations regarding motherhood and hearingloss in children.
April an Active month for FOV
During April together celebrating with other NGO the #DiaDeLasBuenasAcciones, International Good Deeds Day we offered two days of free hearing screening for children and adults.
The US Center for Hearing and Communication recognized FOV for our campaign on the International Noise Awareness Day, #Solo1Minuto
Early Hearing Detection and Intervention is not usually done on all newborns and adults in Panama. Fundacion Oir es Vivir aims to do hearing detection in its Clinic following strict biosecurity protocols with patients and current clinic collaborators.
In the next months we will continue working hard for delivering solutions for hearing disabilities in our community, through one of our main funraising activities of the year, our Art Auction 2021.
