Hello from the team at East Mississippi Animal Rescue! Today we bring you a story from the field about two dogs found in a railroad yard.
Kaboose and her brother, Tracker, (both Walker Hounds) were dumped in a railroad yard and left to fend for themselves. Luckily, they were taken in by an engineer and hitched a ride on the train until he was able to finish up his shift. The pair soon found their way into our care at EMAR.
After being on their own, Kaboose and Tracker were nearly starved and suffering from skin conditions. After veterinary care, treatment for their skin ailments, and lots of good eating, Kaboose and Tucker have shown improvement and are well on their way to recovery. Thanks to your continued support, they have both been fully vetted and are now awaiting their forever homes.
If you are interested in adoption Kaboose and Tracker, please contact us via telephone or email. We appreciated your continued support and dedication to our cause!
