Greetings from East Missisippi Animal Rescue! We thank you for your continued support and look forward to sharing these updates with you. We think it's so important for you to hear how your donations are making a difference in our community.
Today we'd like to tell you a little bit about a new admission, Nala.
Talk about a rough start! At only three months old, Nala the doodle has been hit by a car, suffered a broken leg, and been surrendered for euthanasia by her owner. Thankfully we were contacted and we're stepping in to pay for her surgery and eventually find her a new owner. Nala's vet bill was approximately $1,400 and thanks to donors like you, we were able to cover the cost of her surgery! Nala is recovering in our care and will be ready to find her new home once she is all healed up.
Think you might want to adopt Nala? She won't be ready for about eight weeks while her foster home helps her heal and gain weight (she only weighed ten pounds but should weigh more), but applications can be found on our website or you can reach us by telephone for more information.
Thank you for helping us help animals like Nala. Your donations, no matter the size, make a huge difference!
