Hello from our team at East Mississippi Animal Rescue! We hope you are doing well and wish you good health. We continue to work daily towards our mission of helping animals in need in our community.
Today, we'd like to introduce you to Tessa. Tessa was found as a stray, wandering the streets alone. She was taken to the local city animal control facility. Due to Tessa being pregnant, our organization took her into our care to ensure safe delivery and care for her and her puppies.
Tessa has gotten a good report from the veterinarian and her puppies should arrive within the next 10 to 14 days. The vet says we can expect 5 or 6 puppies from her litter.
Did you know that one dog and her offspring can produce 67,000 offspring in only 6 years? Tessa will be spayed prior to adoption in order to help control the pet overpopulation problem in our area. Her puppies will also be spayed or neutered once they reach the appropriate age.
Your donations will help us continue to care for Tessa as she awaits the birth of her puppies. They will also help provide for the spay/neuter surgeries as well as vaccinations.
We thank you for your devoted support to our organization and cause!
