Happy New Year from East Mississippi Animal Rescue! We hope you had a wonderful holiday season filled with warm memories and joyful times with your loved ones.
As always, we are so appreciative of the support you continue to provide towards our mission. We look forward to telling you about the animals your donations help and hope these stories encourage you to continue your support.
Today we want to tell you a little bit about Lilo. We pulled Lilo from the local county animal control shelter in early October 2024. She spent a few weeks in her foster home when her foster family noticed Lilo limping. Lilo was taken to the vet to see if they could determine the problem. Ultimately, Lilo had to have surgery on one of her hind legs. She spent 6 more weeks in our care while recovering from surgery.
Once fully recovered, Lilo was adopted into her forever home in Alabama. She is enjoying her new home with her new fur sister!
Thank you for allowing us to help animals like Lilo. She now gets to enjoy a better quality of life because of donors like you!
