Lucy is a Rottie-mix that was abandoned, pregnant & feral when we rescued her. Fortunately, all her puppies survived and were quickly adopted. However, Lucy’s story has not been as happy. She has been with EMAR since 2019.
Luckily, she has found a friend in another feral rescue. His name is Peanut. Peanut was roaming the streets of Meridian desperately searching for food & water when we rescued him.
He has been in our care since February of 2020. Neither Lucy nor Peanut will approach people. We know it will take nothing short of a miracle to find their forever homes. But, we pray everyday that they will find their Sanctuary.
We pray that they will be able to go together as they have bonded after being together this long but, again, we know that is asking a lot.
They are special creatures that have survived insurmountable odds to survive.
Would you consider giving these two dogs the soft landing spot they so deserve to live out the rest of their lives?
