This change has created ripples in the student and teacher communities. We at Neelbagh are focusing more on teacher training and holding talks with a few institutes to provide extensive residential on-site training with practical inputs to our teachers. At Neelbagh we are also proposing to conduct a Bridge course for SSLC (10th Standard) as students are bound to face some hardship and pressure while switching over to the CBSE syllabus. .
The School continues to provide opportunities to underprivileged children from poor and marginalized communities. Out of a total of 372 children studying at Neelbagh out of which 89 are construction labourers children, 8 are single parent children, 73 are daily wagers children, 6 auto drivers children and 14 are poor farmers children. . The total hostel strength is now, 100 children. All children from grade 1-10 i.e. a total of 306 children attend computer and pottery training classes and from High School (Grade 6- 10) 80 boys attend carpentry and 69 girls attend tailoring classes.
On behalf of the entire Ashraya staff and Board Members I would like to thank you for your support. Your support and positive comments are the fuel that keeps us moving forward.
Appreciate all your support!
Thanks and Regards,
