The school posted 100% results in the Xth standard state level examinations. There were twenty students who appeared for the examinations this year. The top scorer secured 79.9% and another student obtained 75%. Ten students cleared with first class, another six with second class and the remaining four got pass marks.
The format of the question paper was exceptionally tough for the students this year, not just for the Neelbagh students but for all students who attempted the exams this year. In Rayalpad, the government school posted only 19% pass, and in Srinivaspur, the district posted 47% pass. Kolar district posted 44% pass.
Neelbagh was the ONLY Kannada-medium school in the whole of Kolar district that had 100% pass. The staff and headmaster of the school were felicitated by the Department of Education officials for this feat.
All twenty children are pursuing their higher education.
