On Wednesday, 15th Januray 2019, the duo of Ayomide and Ezekiel, students of Ogedengbe High School, Ilesa, Osun State, Nigeria, who recorded 77% & 75.5% scores, respectively, in the 2018 ASPIRING THE BEST COMPETITION (ABC) received cheques for their Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (WAEC/NECO/GCE). It was indeed an exciting moment for the two scholars as they were applauded severally by their colleagues on the assembly ground.
The story was similar at Reality High School, Ilesa, where the trio of Nafisat, Samuel and Olawumi got overwhelmed due to the show of love by their colleagues and teachers who cheered them up as they were being presented their certificates and cheques on Thursday, 17th January 2019. They promised to be good ambassadors of ISERH and work harder to do better while upholding her moral values and ethics.
The atmosphere wasn't different either, at the Muslim Comprehensive Government College, Ilesa where Abdulbasit received his certificate of induction as an ISERH Ambassador and his cheque for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). The entire school celebrated him for being the first student form the school to benefit from our scholarship.
Students and staff of St. Paul Anglican Model College, Ile-Ife were more than excited to receive our team on Monday, 28th January, 2019, when they stormed the school to present certificate of induction as ISERH Ambassadors and SSCE cheques to Boluwatife who emerged as the 2018 ISERH Student of the Year, and Sunday who also won the scholarship. The teacher who mentored the duo, Mr. Oyeniran, is the 2018 ISERH Teacher of the Year, and the 2018 ISERH Outstanding Teacher of the Year.
Other beneficiaries from Ilesa High School, St. Margaret's High School, First Class High School and Methodist High School were also presented their certificates and cheques. They all expressed enthusiasm with prayers for everyone who contributed towards their education.
On behalf of all the beneficiaries and schools that benefitted our 2018 scholarships and awards, we say a 'big thank you' to everyone who donated towards this course and GlobalGiving for the continuous supports
