Every Child Deserves a Meal. Every Family Deserves Hope.
Imagine having to tell your child there is no food for dinner.
For thousands of parents living in Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camps in Benue State, Nigeria, this heartbreaking conversation has become a daily reality. Once hardworking farming families, they have lost their homes, farms, livelihoods, and sense of security because of recurring violent conflict.
Children who should be learning in school are instead battling hunger, malnutrition, and trauma. Mothers are making impossible choices between feeding their children today or saving the little food they have for tomorrow.
This is why GoGreen Environmental Health Sustainability Initiatives is responding.
Since December 2025, our team has worked directly with displaced families in Makurdi, delivering emergency food assistance and lifesaving essentials to those who need them most. Every food package we distribute represents more than a meal—it restores dignity, strengthens hope, and reminds families they have not been forgotten.
Yet the need continues to grow.
The United Nations warns that nearly 35 million people in Nigeria are expected to face acute food insecurity during the 2026 lean season, driven by conflict, displacement, rising food prices, and climate-related shocks. For families already living in IDP camps, this means hunger is becoming even more severe.
But together, we can change that.
Your gift today can provide nutritious meals for hungry children, essential supplies for vulnerable families, and lifesaving support for those who have nowhere else to turn.
When you support this project, you are not simply donating food.
You are restoring hope.
You are protecting children.
You are helping families rebuild their lives with dignity.
No child should go to bed hungry because conflict forced them from their home.
Please stand with GoGreen today and become part of a community that believes compassion can transform lives. Together, we can ensure that displaced families in Benue State receive the hope, care, and support they urgently need.
