A Child Should Never Have to Choose Between Hunger and Hope
Each morning in Benue State, thousands of children awaken in displacement camps facing unimaginable hardship. For these young ones, basic necessities like food, clean water, and the security of a safe space to play and learn are no longer guaranteed. Violent conflict has driven families from their homes, fields, and the communities they once loved, stripping them of their livelihoods and stability. Today, the crisis has left over 510,000 people internally displaced across Benue State, the overwhelming majority of whom are women and children.
At GoGreen, our mission is to bring urgent, sustained relief to these vulnerable populations. We are on the ground in and around Makurdi, providing monthly food assistance to stave off hunger and nutrition support tailored especially for children to ensure healthy development. Our work doesn’t end there—we supply safe drinking water, essential hygiene kits, and materials like blankets and sleeping mats to bring comfort and dignity to families living in IDP (internally displaced persons) camps. Recognizing the unique challenges faced by women and girls, we also distribute dignity kits to help them manage daily life with privacy and respect.
Your support is much more than charity—it is a beacon of hope. Every act of generosity ensures that a child doesn’t go to bed hungry, empowers a mother to safeguard her family, and offers displaced families the chance to dream of a better future.
Together, we can make a profound difference. Let’s transform fear into dignity, hunger into nourishment, and uncertainty into hope for the people of Benue State. Thank you for standing in solidarity with those who need it most.

Support Sustainable Recovery
By JACKSON AMEH | Project Leader

Families in Benue have faced hardship on a scale that few can imagine. The ongoing conflict has not only uprooted them from their homes but has also denied them access to the fields and farms that once provided a steady source of food and income. As a result, food is now scarce, hunger is widespread, and the entire community lives in a constant state of uncertainty about where their next meal will come from.
While emergency food distributions offer vital short-term relief, they cannot provide a sustainable solution. True recovery means giving families the tools and resources they need to rebuild their lives and regain their independence. That’s why GoGreen is committed to supporting families in Otukpo Nobi with seedlings, farm tools, and essential agricultural inputs. By putting these resources directly into the hands of the people, we are enabling every family in the community to plant, nurture, and eventually harvest their own crops.
This approach is about more than just survival—it’s about restoring hope, dignity, and long-term food security. With your support, families will be able to transform barren, abandoned fields into lush sources of nourishment and stability, breaking the cycle of hunger for good.
Your donation today is not just a meal for one day—it’s the promise of many seasons of abundance to come. Together, we can help families move beyond crisis, toward a future filled with possibility and self-reliance.
Join us in planting hope and supporting sustainable recovery in Benue communities.

Restore Hope and Harvests in Otukpo Nobi
By JACKSON AMEH | Project Leader
Restore Hope and Harvests in Otukpo Nobi
The devastating conflict between herders and farmers in Otukpo Nobi has pushed families to the brink. During our recent household needs assessment, 98% of families reported that conflict has cut them off from their farms—leaving them unable to plant food crops this season. The result: a community now facing severe food shortages, hunger, and even starvation.
While emergency food aid provides immediate relief, it cannot solve the deeper problem. Families need the means to grow their own food and rebuild their independence. That is why, as a team, GoGreen is launching an urgent initiative to provide displaced and vulnerable households with seedlings and essential agricultural inputs.
This approach does more than feed families for a day—it gives them the tools to:
- Restore their farms
- Cultivate their own food
- Secure nourishment for months to come
- Regain dignity and hope for the future
But we cannot do this without your help. The need is urgent, and every donation will go directly toward seeds, tools, and training for the families of Otukpo Nobi.
With your support, we can help these families turn the soil of their own land into a source of strength, resilience, and lasting hope.
Please join us in planting the seeds of recovery. Your gift today can help an entire community move from hunger to harvest.
