Our relationship continue to grow with our sister school

We have three most months to come to the end of the 2017/2018 school years we are having an excellence school year really. Our grade 12^th students just completed the WSSCE examinations on April 20, 2108. We want to give our donors, supporters and sponsors for job well done and we want ask for continual to make this program a success.

We are happy to have you as our supporters and donors, the decision you have made is making a significance impact on the lives of the children of Liberia thank you very much.

Our institution continues to build a strong relationship with the Laurence High School family and we are really experiencing a major growth in this relationship. On April 11, 2018 our both schools had a live video chat and that it was really interesting and that has created a lot of bond between the two institutions. Interesting it was the first time for many of our kids do a live video chat and to interact directly with American kids.

We are so proud of the Laurence high school family for their love and great relationship we all continue to build over the years. The interesting thing about this program is that the both schools students have the opportunity to learn about each other country and cultures.

We want to thank our donors and supporters again especially those that continue to undertake special project in the school. We are so proud of you and we appreciate your love and your commitment to this project. We are thankful to our special donor who has paid for the entire science LAB equipment for the school we really appreciate you. Science LAB is now a major requirement for all schools in Liberia since Liberia has now joined others ECOWAS countries to write one common exam WSSCE.

The school is faced with a lot challenges right now there is no chair and desk for kids to sit for their learning and this has been a troubling to us but one of our special donors and supporters has promised to undertake this project and we so proud of her. She is always there for us giving her support and love to this program and the children of Liberia. We remain grateful to her and her entire family for their love and cares.

Others major challenges faced with the school are the reconstruct of school and qualify teachers. The current building being used to operate the school is an old existence building which built for dwelling and since we own it now we want to make it out of actual school building. But we want to do this development gradually, if anyone is touch to give us their support and contribution. No amount is small for this project $10.00 can buy a bag of cement, $240.00 can a truck of sand, $14.00 can buy 14 inches steel rod, $6000.00 can build entire classroom and print your family name on it. We will right away start this project as soon as donations start coming in so that we be able the kids will have a conducive learning environment. The issue with the qualified it is a major challenge that is facing the entire country, most of the teachers are not qualified therefore it is affecting educational system in the country. We want to gradually send our teachers to teacher training institutes in the south region to enable the institution get qualify teachers that will be able to prepare our students.

We are so thankful to them and all those who continue to give their love and support, you are making a difference and building the human resources of Liberia to reduce poverty which is a killer disease that kills millions without curse.

Please continue to give your support and love without you we will not have such a program to support these less fortunate kids.

The new School year excitement

Seeking for Music teacher

The new school year has begun with a lot of excitements at the Carolyn A. Miller School in Paynesville near Monrovia.

The school has a penpal program with Laurence High School in California and through that program, one of the students of that school and his parent saw the need to donate Modern musical instrument to the of students CAMHS.

And this is so important to the kids and The kids they are so grateful to Sam,Tara and Kids for Joy for their good gesture and they are so happy and eager to start using these instruments but there is no teacher so they are seeking for one.

The Laurence high School Family is also looking into supporting the School Science Lab which will be a great opportunity for our science. They have already made some donation toward that we really appreciate their gesture.

The school does not have a science and this is something that is really the learning of the students especially for the sciences like Physic, Biology and chemistry.

Many thanks to all of you that continue to give your heart to the kids in our world, there is so much you are given that will ever be remember that no one erase it on earth.

We want to thank all of our donors and supporters their continual supports to the children of Liberia and the Carolyn A. Miller School family. The kids are so happy since they now owned the building for themselves.

The building and the land was bought by our special donors who have taken this institution into their heart and have so much love for the children of Liberia. These donors have never stopped their love and concern for what we do here in support of the less fortunate children in Liberia.

We are so thankful to them and all those who continue to give their love and support, you are making a difference and building humanity to reduce poverty which is a killer disease that millions without curse.

We are now free from rent payment

We are thankful to GlobalGiving and all of our donors who continue to give their support to our project in Liberia to help those kids in Liberia in need. Since our organization return to Liberia we have run this program in a rental building that which has been very costly for us but with the help of GlobalGiving and our special donors, we have finally bought the building. And has solely comes a property for the organization, the school and the children and it has cut of the rent payment. We want to thank donors so much for their love, concern and generosity toward the children of Liberia.

We have to the closer school year and we are preparing for the graduation of our students on August 5 at the Good Shepherd Episcopal Church in Paynesville. We appreciate the opportunity given to us to acquired the building, we been able to carried on the major work on the building by changing one side of the main building roof, tiled the floors, changed all the oldwindows to iron bars and that has given more vacillation to the classrooms for the learning of the children. Since the building has now been acquired and now owned by us, it is now our desire to develop it and make it decent for our students that which will give them a good learning environment. We want to reconstruct the annex, create better classrooms, better library, science lap, computer lap and a cafeteria for the students. This building was constructed as a dwelling place now we want to change it to standard classrooms.

We want to remain grateful to GlobalGiving our beloved donors for their love and supports they continue to us, if it has not been for their commitment to this project we couldn’t have been able to continue this project. Most of the donors we had for the past 8 years have stopped their supports but this family has stood with us and they give their support to all of the projects we run. This family is so loving and so caring; they support the entire project we run to support the less fortunate children in this part of the world. Many thanks to you, we appreciate your love, we also love you and we appreciate every support you continue to us, you are now our family and parents of these kids we work with.

We are seeking a family, individual, foundation and group to help us build a classroom, library, cafeteria, computer lab, science lab etc to be named after their family, entity or after them. Any interest donor can please contact our team for more detail. The cost to construct one classroom to completion according to the contractor is cost around $ 10,000.00. We are already making block with the left over funding from the donation made for the purchased of the building. Any interested donor don’t have to donor the whole amount as one it can be donated in installment till it comes to completion but if a donor also want to donate all as once, we will appreciate it.
