Their parents are mostly labourers, daily wagers, domestic workers, or unemployed. With increasing inflation, life has become very difficult for them. Goal 1 Education NHSD serves these communities through ration distribution, vocational training for their children so that they can become earning hands and break the cycle of poverty. Goal 2 Disaster Management and Risk Reduction NHSD is focused on rescue, rehabilitation and relief in times of disasters Goal 3 Women Empowerment Through IT Training and Training in Textile Designing and Freelancing the girls and women are able to generate income through small businesses and jobs. Goal 4 Awareness Raising and Advocacy NHSD is committed to raising awareness and provide advocacy for health, hygiene, education, and environment. Goal 5 Poverty Alleviation The BOD and Management Team of NHSD strictly follow the principles laid down by the organization. This has enabled them to successfully complete 60 projects with national and international donors. We follow strict monitoring and evaluation policies as well as policies for financial management.
