This funding will enable Sarah establish a small home based business to enable her take care of her kids, Sarahs husband passed on recently to HIV/AIDS, fortunately Sarah is HIV Negative,she was left helpless as her husband was the bread winner.When she is able to sustain her family, she will not be a burden to the neighbors and relatives and her children will continue going to school.
A motor cycle to monitor child health in Uganda
 
This project will purchase a motor bike to enable monitor children in Mpigi District-Uganda. Mountains of Hope works in hard to reach areas with poor road network. The new motor bike will enable us to monitor children Education, Health and community interventions among others. A motor bike will be purchased with full comprehensive insurance and one year warranty making it more safe and secure
Keep 2000 School Kids Safe, Buy First Aid Kits
 
At Mountains of Hope we envision that one day, all children will have the opportunity to attain good health and an excellent education. To achieve this, we aim to purchase 40 first aid kits for 5 primary schools in one district. Each class will receive one kit as well as a teachers staff room to enable them to give first aid treatment to pupils before referring them to health centers. Currently, pupils are sent back home to seek treatment for simple health issues such as a cold or slight injury.
Support 5 days HIV/AIDS Youth Conference in Uganda
 
This project will facilitate a five days youth conference to address health issues surrounding the HIV/AIDS epidemic in Mpigi District. Although a lot has been done,the District is still challenged with the high prevalence which is above the National average of 7.3%.The prevalence for the Central 1 region is estimated at 10.6%,while in Mpigi District the ANC weighted prevalence stands at 8% (UNAIS, 2011). The sero-positivity rate according to the DHIS 2 report 2015/16 is at 5.3%.
Send 15 youth for computer studies in Uganda
 
80% of the Youth in our Community lack skill to become productive as well as creative.Our project has identified 15 youth (boys & girls) who expressed their interest to learn computer and internet and set a career in computers. After the training the youth would become self-sufficient. We aim at training needy youth to become skilled, productive and creative in computer related jobs.
Boost Rural Womens Juice Processing Plan in Uganda
 
15 women formed a group for purposes of making and packing Juice, these women have been trained in juice making, they lack start up items for their dream to come true, their company will be based on beverage products.They have segmented their market according to age, sex,income and occupation
Help Harriet reach her nursing dream in Uganda

Set Up a Hybrid Piggery Project for Kids in Uganda
 
Mountains of Hope is currently building an orphanage and school for 50 vulnerable children in rural Uganda. In order to make the school self-sustaining, we are creating a variety of income-generating ventures including a piggery. Build a Home for 50 Orphans in Uganda
 
In Mpigi, Uganda thousands of children are living without one or both parents, putting them at risk of dropping out, falling ill, being malnourished, and suffering from other effects of poverty. Mountains of Hope seeks to create an orphanage as a safe place for 50 children to learn and grow.
