Soccer Balls to Support 600 Pupils Train in Soccer
 
This project will buy 20 soccer balls and 10 Net balls to 5 Primary schools in Uganda, the project will provide over 600 pupils the opportunity to participate in an alternative athletic activity during the after school hours, this helps to develop their athletic talent especially during co-curricular activities but also to equally enhance life skills and improvement of academic performance of the children.
Help Ann to Boost her Beauty Shop in Uganda
 
This project will help boost an already existing beauty shop business in Uganda, Ann established the beauty shop to enable her to support her children and family as well as the entire community,her products also benefit the community as she sells herbal products that help clean and nourish the skin of children and adults. When this shop is boosted, she will be able to continue paying her children's school fees.
Help a village to fight teenage pregnancies
 
Uganda has one of the highest rates of child marriage in the world, with 46% of girls married before age 18 (UNFPA 2012). This project will empower children in Primary schools in Uganda through Music, Dance and Drama, empower them in their choices and create a safe community that promotes parents and guardians to support young girls through healthy discussion of reproductive health topics.
Solar System to Power Youth Computer School
 
In the Mpigi District in Uganda, electricity is very inconsistent, making it hard for children to learn at the computer training center. The center teaches computer skills to over 50 youth who otherwise would have no access to the training. With your help, we can install solar panels that will allow us to have consistent power and consistently teach our students.
A Retail Shop for a Widow in Uganda
 
This funding will enable Sarah establish a small home based business to enable her take care of her kids, Sarahs husband passed on recently to HIV/AIDS, fortunately Sarah is HIV Negative,she was left helpless as her husband was the bread winner.When she is able to sustain her family, she will not be a burden to the neighbors and relatives and her children will continue going to school.
A motor cycle to monitor child health in Uganda
 
This project will purchase a motor bike to enable monitor children in Mpigi District-Uganda. Mountains of Hope works in hard to reach areas with poor road network. The new motor bike will enable us to monitor children Education, Health and community interventions among others. A motor bike will be purchased with full comprehensive insurance and one year warranty making it more safe and secure
Help Sharon Complete Nursing Course in Uganda
 
Sharon's dream is to become a practicing nurse in Uganda, she enrolled a year and a half ago in school of Nursing.GlobalGiving donors like you last year supported Sharon with tuition to start school. If Sharon completes her course, there is a ready job for her with the District Health center, but her mother can only afford to buy her school uniform and other requirements, her mother does wash clothes for a pay to earn for Sharon's education and to cater for other family needs.

This project helps set up another computer training bureau and internet cafe for youth project in another center in Uganda.2 years ago GlobalGiving donors helped set up one computer bureau in central Uganda.The computer training will focus on helping youth learn how to use general office software such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access etc...), website development and design, search engine optimization and social media training.
