Prevent dropout, give kids school they deserve
In India, child education faces numerous challenges. Schools in remote areas still lack basic infrastructure and amenities like toilets and clean drinking water. They aren't equipped with separate classrooms or boundary walls. These problems make it extremely difficult for the children to stay put in school. But you can change this. Right to School
The projects aims at providing children access to equitable and quality education, ensuring that the schools in this area are compliant with Right To Education norms. Chennai floods- Help children rebuild their lives
Chennai is now battling the after effects of the torrential rains, seen as the worst that the city has experienced in the last 100 years. CRY's intervention area in Vyasarpadi, Chennai is one of the largest slums in Tamil Nadu and is seriously affected. The situation of children is alarming there. Sewage water has flooded homes and risk of disease is high. Food and rations are scarce and drinking water is unavailable. Education & Health via Sports to Indian Slum Kids
The project uses sports as a medium to bring together 1594 children in 6 urban slums of Chennai under one platform, build confidence & a sense of self-worth among them, and provide them with better educational and healthcare facilities, and thus bring about a visible change in their lives. Support immunization of 42971 children in India
Only 56% of the children in India get full immunization. For 1 in every 20 children in India, the 1st birthday might never happen. To address the problem, CRY is focusing on ensuring complete immunizations for 42,430 children between the ages of 0 - 12 months in 3500 villages across India, during the month of July and August, by 1.
