The projects aims at providing children access to equitable and quality education, ensuring that the schools in this area are compliant with Right To Education norms. This project aims to work with 2,061 children from 15 villages (in Telangana State) the school they deserve, so that they are on the path to complete their education and take the first step towards a successful future. By creating healthier learning environments in schools and raising awareness among all stakeholders.
The lack of safe and clean drinking water, no toilets or no separate toilets for girls, teachers not attending school regularly, boundary walls, basic infrastructure not being present gradually leads to children losing motivation to continue their education and eventually dropping out of school. Lack of awareness among community members and children about what they should rightfully demand in school has also led to this situation. If addressed, 2,016 children will not dropout of school.
In addressing and correcting the very causes that result in dropping out - CRY aims to bring about a permanent change in the lives of children in project area. The project will -Activate and strengthen School Monitoring Committees. -Ensure that the schools are Right To Education(RTE) norms compliant. -Provide access to equitable and quality preschool, primary and secondary education. Better infrastructure and amenities will ensure children do not dropout as they get the school they deserve.
This initiative would ensure 2,813 schools give 271,341 children in India the school they deserve. Children will continue to be motivated to come to school, and will be on the path to complete their education; ensuring that they have the best chance for a happier childhood and a successful future. The project aims to ensure that infrastructure, facilities and quality education aid to children staying in school and all stake holders made aware of what they should rightfully demand in a school.
