Accomplished Activities during the 17th Quarter (Ocotber 2022- March 2023) of the project: 

  1. Our youth leaders organized community led conversations on youth politcal representaion in the local government system in 05 villages of Lower Dir and Upper Dir.
  2. Consultative meetings of youth leaders with the local social and political leadership were organized, to help them build networking with the prominent social and political leadership.
  3. The trainined youth leader arranged visit to the flood afected areas in Lower Dir and Upper Dir and collected data of flood affected commuites and later on shared it with relevent instituions to enurse immediate relief and assistance.  
  4. Monthly progress review and planning meetings were held with the team in the field. During the meeting project progress was reviewed, challenges were discussed and an action plan was reviewed and finalized for every next month.

Challenges:

The project design is based on an integrated approach in terms of the relevancy of the activities' sequel and effect. The total estimated budget of the project is 50,000 USD, against this budget until we have received an amount of donation of around 5,000.00 USD. The project team has been simultaneously paying attention to this challenge and continued the Youth Leadership Training in two districts initially, and later on, once the funds will be available, the 3rd district will be included too.

Accomplished Activities during the 16th Quarter of the project: 

  1. Our trained young leaders organized community led conversations on gender mainstreaming for 10 community activists.
  2. Three consultative meetings of youth leaders with the local political parties' leadership were organized, to help them build networking with the prominent political parties and their leadership.
  3. Our trained youth leaders organized local community awareness sessions about voter education in the local communities. Approximately 200 men participated in these sessions.
  4. Monthly progress review and planning meetings were held with the team in the field. During the meeting project progress was reviewed, challenges were discussed and an action plan was reviewed and finalized for every next month.

Accomplished Activities during the 15th Quarter of the project: 

  1. Eleven community awareness sessions on voter mobilizations were organized in Lower Dir; Malakand and Upper Dir. Three sessions were organized in each district. Approximately 500 women participated in these sessions. The women and young girls taught the voting process and method in the Local Government Elections 2022. 
  2. Three consultative meetings among the local political parties' leadership and youth were organized, to help them build networking with the prominent political parties and their leadership.
  3. The local bodies' elections in Malakand region held on 31st March 2022. Our team organized two one-day training workshops on election campaigning for young women candidate on women reserved seats.
  4. Six awareness sessions about voter education in the local communities were organized. Approximately 380 men participated in these sessions
  5. Monthly progress review and planning meetings were held with the team in the field. During the meeting project progress was reviewed, challenges were discussed and an action plan was reviewed and finalized for every next month.

Accomplished Activities during the 14th Quarter of the project: 

  1. Nine community awareness sessions on voter mobilizations were organized in Lower Dir and Malakand. Three sessions were organized in each district. 20-28 people participated in each session.
  2. Meetings/consultations among the local political parties' leadership and youth were organized, to help them build networking with the prominent political parties and their leadership.
  3. The local bodies' elections in Malakand region are excluded from the first round. However the possibility is that soon it will be announced to be hold in the coming months. Our team organized meetings and consultations with the election commission office/team to continue getting updates about the preparations and other necessary aspects to design our activities for the training of the potential candidates both women and youth.
  4. Our team organized 6 awareness sessions about voter education in the local communities.
  5. Monthly progress review and planning meetings were held with the team in the field. During the meeting project progress was reviewed, challenges were discussed and an action plan was reviewed and finalized for every next month.

Accomplished Activities during the 13th Quarter of the project: 

  1. Meetings/consultations among the local political parties' leadership and youth were organized, to help them build networking with the prominent political parties and their leadership.
  2. The local bodies elections will be held in the coming months. Our team organized meetings and consultations with the election commission office/team to continue getting updates about the preparations and other necessary aspects to design our activities for the training of the potential candidates both women and youth.
  3. Our organized 2 training sessions for potential candidates both women and youth in the local bodies elections and simultaneously working on resources mobilizations to initiate the activities on the ground as soon as possible.
  4. Our team organized 6 awareness sessions about voter registration and CNIC card in the local communities.
  5. Monthly progress review and planning meetings were held with the team in the field. During the meeting project progress was reviewed, challenges were discussed and an action plan was reviewed and finalized for every next month.

  2. Since March 2020 due to the Corona Pandemic, we have reduced our in-person interactions and initiatives on the ground to avoid the spread of the Corona Virus among the community members.
