Accomplished Activities during the 12th Quarter of the project:
- Meetings/consultations among the local political parties' leadership and youth were organized, to help them build networking with the prominent political parties and their leadership.
- The local bodies' elections are recently announced, in this regard, our team organized meetings and consultations with the election commission office/team to get updates about the preparations and other necessary aspects to design our activities for the training of the potential candidates both women and youth.
- Our team is in the process of organizing a training program for potential candidates both women and youth in the local bodies' elections and simultaneously working on resource mobilizations to initiate the activities on the ground as soon as possible.
- Monthly progress review and planning meetings were held with the team in the field. During the meeting project progress was reviewed, challenges were discussed and an action plan was reviewed and finalized for every next month.
Challenges:
- The project design is based on an integrated approach in terms of the relevancy of the activities' sequel and effect. The total estimated budget of the project is 50,000 USD, against this budget until we have received an amount of donation of around 5,000.00 USD. The project team has been simultaneously paying attention to this challenge and continued the Youth Leadership Training in two districts initially, and later on, once the funds will be available, the 3rd district will be included too.
- Since March 2020 due to the Corona Pandemic, we have reduced our in-person interactions and initiatives on the ground to avoid the spread of the Corona Virus among the community members.
