Dear Friend,

Warm greetings and thank you very much for your support to our project helping poor entrepreneurs. We realize early on that most of our entrepreneurial activities are centered on farming and agriculture and there is a need to improve the fertility of the soil in order to boost production. Repeated use of the soil without soil amelioration makes the soil infertile and we need to improve this situation by teaching farmers to produce their own local soil amelioration supply in order to be sustainable. Since agricultural waste abound in the neighborhood we collect and utilize the waste and produce organic fertilizer that we distribute to our beneficiaries. We also sell some in order to defray cost and so that we are able to produce more. Hoping that you will continue to support us and thank you so much indeed.

Very sincerely yours,

Cora Sayre

Supporting feeder farms
Supporting feeder farms

Dear Friend,

Warm greetings and thank you very much for your support to our initiative developing and helping small entrepreneurs earn income and expand their business. We realize that poor entrepreneurs have little access to quality farming inputs and have to contend with poor quality sources so in order to help solve this situation we supported during this time feeder projects that are able to supply high-quality livelihood inputs such as farm animals, quality seedlings and planting materials. This is with the goal of improving the income and profitability of livelihoods being undertaken. We were able to support a total of 15 entrepreneurs mostly farming ventures during this time. Hoping for your continuing help. Thank you very much.

Very sincerely yours,

Cora Sayre

Warmest greetings and thank you very much for your continuing support to our initiative supporting small business for poor entrepreneurs. We are happy to inform you that despite the threat of climate change and the lingering impact of the coronavirus pandemic, we are able to assist a total of 30 small entrepreneurs expand their existing business. These entrepreneurs are mostly farmers and artisans and the small capital which we are providing is aimed at improving their livelihoods compared to existing ones with low capital and low margins. We aim to expand our support and hoping that you will continue to assist us and partner with us. Thank you so much.

Very sincerely yours,

Pay in kind scheme
Pay in kind scheme

Dear Friend,

Warmest greetings and thank you very much for your generous support to our initiative supporting small business for poor entrepreneurs. During this reporting period, we ponder upon a difficult reality, that is, poor entrepreneurs most often are not able to pay off their loans intended for their business and some of the loans are used to purchase food and other basic necessities or to pay existing loans. This is problematic and there should be a way in order to solve this situation. In this case and during this reporting period, we focus our efforts to try to design a program wherein beneficiaries will be able to pay in kind with our supervision. In kind payment maybe in terms of small animals or vegetable production from the loan. We are trying this pilot with 50 beneficiaries and then assess progress in 2-3 months time. Hoping that this strategy will be successful. Thank you for your support.

Very sincerely yours,

Cora

Farm support
Farm support

Dear Friend,

Warm greetings and thank you very much for your continuing support to our initiative supporting small business for poor entrepreneurs. We are happy to inform you that despite the hardships experienced by local communities because of the coronavirus pandemic, we are smoothly implementing this important initiative. This reporting period we were able to provide small farming inputs to 53 entrepreneurs with the inputs ranging from vegetable seeds to fertilizer and small farming tools. We focus on farmers because most of our project areas are farming communities and the need to support them is great. Climate change is also impacting their lives and there is indeed a need to increase our effort to help them. Hoping for your continuing support to our initiative. Thank you very much.

Very sincerely yours,

Cora
