Dear Friend,

Warmest greetings and thank you very much for your generous support to our initiative supporting small business for poor entrepreneurs. During this reporting period, we ponder upon a difficult reality, that is, poor entrepreneurs most often are not able to pay off their loans intended for their business and some of the loans are used to purchase food and other basic necessities or to pay existing loans. This is problematic and there should be a way in order to solve this situation. In this case and during this reporting period, we focus our efforts to try to design a program wherein beneficiaries will be able to pay in kind with our supervision. In kind payment maybe in terms of small animals or vegetable production from the loan. We are trying this pilot with 50 beneficiaries and then assess progress in 2-3 months time. Hoping that this strategy will be successful. Thank you for your support.

Very sincerely yours,

Cora

Farm support
Farm support

Dear Friend,

Warm greetings and thank you very much for your continuing support to our initiative supporting small business for poor entrepreneurs. We are happy to inform you that despite the hardships experienced by local communities because of the coronavirus pandemic, we are smoothly implementing this important initiative. This reporting period we were able to provide small farming inputs to 53 entrepreneurs with the inputs ranging from vegetable seeds to fertilizer and small farming tools. We focus on farmers because most of our project areas are farming communities and the need to support them is great. Climate change is also impacting their lives and there is indeed a need to increase our effort to help them. Hoping for your continuing support to our initiative. Thank you very much.

Very sincerely yours,

Cora

Dear Friend,

Warm greetings and thank you for your continuing support to our initiative supporting small business for poor entrepreneurs. We are happy to report that despite the problems with the pandemic we are still operating and providing service to families needing assistance. Small business is the lifeblood of local communities as this is the means for incomes to be generated and the access to material needs provided. The coronavirus pandemic has made the operation of small business  difficult and we are trying very hard to support local entrepreneurs. This reporting period we are happy to report that we are expanding to 4 more villages with our passing-on-the-gift scheme wherein our support is paid back and replicated to other entrepreneurs. This system goes on and on and hopefully we will be able to increase the numbers we are supporting. Again, thank you very much for your kindness and generosity.

Very sincerely yours,

Cora Sayre

Dear Friend,

Warm greetings and thank you very much for your generous donation to our project supporting small business for poor entrepreneurs. This reporting period we focus our support to small-scale farming families or those who have less than a hectare of land to farm because they are the most economically poor. The Coronavirus pandemic has also severely affected them with the disruption of markets and the food supply chain. This reporting period we were able to provide them with farming inputs in order to pump prime their livelihoods. These inputs comprise vegetable seeds, organic fertilizer, small animals like ducks and chickens and small capital to purchase farm equipment. We are able to support a total of 175 farmers in this manner. We will continue to support them in the coming months and hoping that the Coronavirus pandemic will have a permanent solution since this added to the suffering of the local farmers.

Very sincerely yours,

Cora Sayre

Dear Friend,

Warm greetings and thank you very much for your generous support to our initiative supporting small business for poor entrepreneurs. This time with the Coronavirus pandemic still ravaging the villages with no solution in sight, businesses have been affected badly and the most problematic are those with little capital and unable to fend for the downturn in the economy and the purchasing power of the local population. Even with this we focused our attention to providing value added to local products with high potential for the local market by engaging in product processing and then enlisting local resellers of the products. We are starting with the processing of dragon fruits into vinegar and wine with the knowledge that this has the potential for increasing the income of small scale growers and processors.

Hoping for your continuing support to this initiative.

Very sincerely yours,

Cora Sayre
