Your valuable contribution allows us to continue helping more boys and girls with cancer!
In recent months we have carried out various activities within the hospital, so that children in treatment can have spaces for learning, reflection and fun.
One of the activities we developed was carried out in the library. There the children read a story about emotions, they and their parents expressed their own emotions and shared the situations with which they felt identified. Later, in a guided activity, the children reproduced and stamped their favorite images on T-shirts.
7-year-old Paola said she felt happy because even though she doesn't like to get dirty, she is willing to do so to give her mother a beautiful printed t-shirt on Mother's Day.
Lucas, 9 years old, said he felt sad but also happy because he has lived through this process of health and illness with the support of his mother and he feels that they have already made a lot of progress on the road to his recovery.
Other children and parents also shared their emotions as they printed their t-shirts. When it was time to go back to their rooms, everyone came out with a big smile.
Would you like to contribute with these activities that make the process of living with cancer less painful?
