With your support we continue working for the welfare of children with cancer!
During the first months of the year we have welcomed new children to the Foundation. More than 30 children have been diagnosed with some type of childhood cancer, only in one of the hospitals in the capital city. Our mission is to accompany the children and their families, to give them emotional and social support, and to tell them that they are not alone in this process.
In the last few weeks, we have made several hospital rounds to talk to the parents and to listen to the children. We have also given them a painting kit and shared pleasant moments with them.
Very soon we will resume our educational sessions and support groups so that parents can feel comforted in the treatment process of their children. As a Foundation we are committed to their welfare.
Would you like to join this wonderful cause?

With your contribution we can continue helping children with cancer!
Last December we had our Christmas party with the oncology children, their parents and the health personnel. Around 80 people attended the event, who enjoyed music, food and Christmas gifts. The most beautiful and emotional part of the celebration was the dance that the children and their parents did. They danced “Vals Time”, their soft steps to the rhythm of the music, their glances, and their dresses specially chosen for the occasion, made this moment something inspiring and memorable. Those of us who were watching this wonderful presentation did not want it to end, because it was beautiful to connect with those feelings between parents and children who go through together what is surely the most challenging experience of their lives.
The new year brings new challenges, but also 365 new opportunities to do good and contribute to the well-being of children with cancer and their families.
We would love to count on you in this work. Would you like to join us?

Making the process of living with cancer less pain

¡With your contribution we will be able to help more children with cancer!
We are just a few months away from the end of the year and we feel very happy because despite the financial challenges, given the economic, political and social context of the country, we continue working for the well-being of children with cancer in treatment and their families.
Mariana was diagnosed with acute leukemia at 3 years of age. Going to the chemotherapy room made her irritable, easy to cry, and angry, but thanks to our art therapy activities and recreational activities facilitated by our psychologist and volunteers, she has learned to feel this space in a warmer way. Now she enjoys the activities and games, and focuses her attention on other things and no longer just on the chemotherapy treatment.
Contributing to the well-being of children with cancer is our mission. That is why we continue working on proposals that help us make the process of living with cancer less painful.
